Duchies Armaments Corporation is the sole legal Arms exporter outside of Guns for the United Duchies. The company works with defense contractors to develop Fighter Jets and market any naval products abroad and deal with the bidding for contracts abroad. The company is owned by the High Duke Fund and 7 Duchies.The company also comes up with a list of states that exports of non-gun armaments are allowed to be sold to.
Exports Lists explained
Legally all arms exports from Duchies must are on three lists by laws with permissions varying by list. The first is the General Arms Export List this allows for exports of Guns and small arms as well as less national security dependent arms to approved nations with conditions being generally nations must be in compliance with human rights regulations. The second is the Heavy Export List, nations may apply to be on this list and to do so you can fill in a form as a government. These nations are approved by the government being voted on by the parliament and then approved or not by the High Duke, then exports will always be allowed. The third is the Restricted Export List in which each export is considered on a case by case basis , this usually applies to the most critical equipment such Air Defense Missile systems of Assualt ships and Aircraft Carriers. Export variants of all though might have certain National Security critical systems not included. All export variants are marked with an e for export in their model numbers. Human Rights violations or violations in War Conventions may result in loss of Heavy Export List status.Restricted Export sales will always be voted on by parliament after a report on human rights risks or security risks of the deal.
