The Environment and Rural Affairs Minister Harley Edwards arrived at the conference to represent the United Duchies. The government discussed who to send and decided it was probably best to send the expert and person in charge of the environmental affairs. The goal was simple achieve a sustainable treaty all could sign, Duchies wanted fou rthings Carbon Neutrality by no later than 2050 for every nation even though its goal was 2030-2035, Petrol or Diesel ICE ban by 2045,single use plastics phased out by 2040-2045 even though its goal was sooner and finally support for fossil fuel and poorer nations to convert to green energy and technologies and importantly help for them to transition into new industries paid for out of the cleaner and richer nations pockets. This was about solidarity and one could not just say to Vayinaod , Duxburion Union and Nofoaga you are on your own.He had also been instructed to remove the carbon tax from the agreement to try to get spain's backing for a treaty even though Duchies supported a carbon tax and push back the construction of non renewable plants to 2035 with the buildings goal to be watered down to carbon neutral buildings , 80% recycling requirement and carbon intensive materials ban by 2045 as opposed to 2040.

The environment minister for Strathae Mallaidh Máirín MacCùga arrived at the conference to represent Strathae. She met with the counterparts from Duchies who had just arrived. She had been told to try to advocate for carbon Neutrality by 2040, Single Use plastics ban by 2030, and Diesel and Petrol ban by 2030(excluding bio-fuels). She was also asked to advocate for funding for nations to convert to renewables or nuclear fully by 2035 with enough for even poor nations to do so. They hoped these goals were achievable.
