Resignation of ESA Directorship

It is with regret that I Lutz Hertzfeld resign with immediate effect from the ESA. I have tried my very best to get cooperation projects through. Written reports of the budget needs for European Cooperation projects and instead of listening there has been radio silence from the Premier Comissioner and Internal Affairs Commissioner. To add to this despite it being made know the agency needs more money to unleash the power of the EU and benefit the citizens of this fine union our budget has instead faced a slashing that now means any co-operative European Projects that might unleash the power of the EU are impossible. The ESA is essentially being reduced to a do nothing agency , if I do not have the resources to be able to do my job and have the staff of this agency fulfil the vision of EU cooperation between space agencies then I am wasting my time in this job. I will be moving on to better resourced agencies that can actually boost international cooperation.
