Nominations for Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Council will hereby commence.

The Speaker and Deputy Speaker terms last for 18 months, and their roles involve keeping and maintaining Council records, keeping order within the Council chamber, and making sure Council procedures run smoothly and properly according to the law.

NOMINATIONS start NOW and end at 23:59 GMT on June 30th, 2023. Speaker candidates will then DEBATE until 23:59 GMT on July 7th, 2023. A VOTE will then be held for BOTH Speaker and Deputy Speaker, and will last until 23:59 GMT on July 14th, 2023.

Experience: Donald Tusk was born in the autonomous community of Germanium, in Spain, on April 22nd, 1957. He studied history, and graduated in 1980. He has always loved politics and, since he was a teenager, started to enroll on several political associations against the Francoist Dictatorship his country was living under at that moment.

During his political career in the Kingdom of Spain, he has been a member of the Regional parliament of Germanium (2005-2019) and the Chancellor of Germanium (2009-2015). That year, he decided to let his friend and former Internal Affairs Commissioner, Jean-Claude Juncker, to run for the Chancellorie, a race he won with a majority. He then was appointed by Juncker as Vice-Chancellor of Germanium, a position he had from 2015 until 2019.

After his resignation as Vice-Chancellor of Germanium, it was announced he would run to become the Spanish Councillor after the Elected and Accountable Council Act (EACA) was passed and all European Countries had to hold elections. He won the race and became the 2nd Councillor for Spain, a position he still holds. In February 2021, he became Deputy Speaker of the European Council, a position that has seen a huge involvement from him. That year, Donald Tusk had to take over the "acting Speaker" role, due to the absence of the former Speaker of the Council, Charles Michel, a position that allowed the Council to move. He then ran for the Speaker position, but was defeated by the current Speaker of the European Council.

Experience: Born in the city of Port Hilson in the State of Arlick on August 24th, 1947, Lionel Morel studied at the State University of Arlick for a Bachelors of Bussiness Administration in 1970. He work for the Plessis Right Trading Company's Port Hilson Branch, where he rose up the ranks to the Branch's Director of Inventory Trading until he left the company to serve as a member of the List Delgelation of the Arlick State Congress in 1994 until 2002, where he lost his place in the 2002 General Election and work run again 2004 where he would run again but for the 32rd District of State Congress running with the strong support of the Conservative Reform Party. In this election, the Conservative Reformists won with a total of 181 out of 260 seats with a 51 seat majority. He would in this case be elected by his own party members to serve as Minister-Governor for Arlick implementing a strong pro-business agenda that expanded the Urban areas of Arlick and increased revenue for the state to invest in business expansion. His majority in the State Congress continued until 2012 when the Civil Populist Party was the majority. Afterward, he served four years as the mayor of Port Hilson from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, he won a two year to be a Senator within the National Congress representing Arlick until focused on voting based on his conscience where he did not receive the party's backing for the 2020 election, he would join Former President Lifejumper's Free Democratic Party as its chairman and transformation into the Federation of Centrist Democrats. In 2021, he ran for the 2021 EU Councilor Special Election and won within the first round with 51% of the vote.

Experience: Kofi's political journey began early in his life when he entered the local political arena in Marshee, Southern Counties. With the support of his uncle, he joined the town council at the young age of sixteen. However, at nineteen, he decided to leave the council to pursue his studies in psychology and political science, while also working for a local newspaper.

In 2007, Kofi started working as a psychologist at St. Lucas Central Hospital while remaining actively engaged in politics. He established a blog in 2008, where he provided insightful commentary on Elthic politics, a venture he continued until 2013. During that same year, he made a transition to the field of journalism, joining The Tribunal, a prominent media outlet, where he worked until 2016. In 2018, Kofi ventured into electoral politics, but unfortunately, his bid for a seat in the National Assembly was unsuccessful.

In 2023, following the unexpected recall of Liam Zachary, Kofi seized the opportunity and ran for the position of Councillor for Elthize. Central to his campaign was the concept of "instant neutrality," with Kofi pledging to introduce a motion for Elthize's neutrality within the first month of his term. This resonated strongly with the Elthic public, leading to his victory in the councillor elections, where he surpassed his rival Nolan Brunson by a ten-point margin.
