Normalisation of Relations

Min. Coventry: "Chairman, it looks like you've lost your Foreign Minister. And I know where he is. I will tell you where he is if you will do what I say. One mistake and you could lose him....forever!"
-
"Tell me what is required." The Chairman said to the Prime Minister. "I will do my best to oblige. But, if you harm Bernie the wrath of Icholasen will scar your nation forever."
Secretly, the Chairman ordered the launch 30 divisions of Su-57 fighters (or 750 planes), 15 Divisions of Fighter-Bombers (or 450 planes), 10 divisions of Bombers (240 planes), and 20 divisions of Strategic Bombers or 600 planes to take off from Czech Slavia where they had been waiting on high alert since the end of hostilities. They would arrive over Reitzmag in around 2 to 3 hours. In addition to this, Icholasen's roaming fleet of submarines was put on alert with around 30 conventional missiles ready to strike strategic locations in Reitzmag. It would take Reitzmag some time to notice the arrival of the sky-armada, but they would be able to tell it was arriving soon.
-
Min. Coventry: "Okay, here's the deal. We'll release Sandals, I mean Sanders, to you. But you should give us 5 squadrons of your SU-57 planes immediately. Then, you shall surrender the power over Icholasen to the legitimate monarchy."
-
"We will not agree to that. If you don't give up Bernie right now we will fire upon your nation." The Chairman said.
-
Min. Coventry: "Okay, we'll give you Bernie as long as you give us 5 squadrons of SU-57s for free."
-
"We will not give up any air-force units. All we want is Bernie and for us to return to the pre-crisis relations between our countries." The Chairman stated.
-
Min. Coventry: "Well, then say goodbye to your friend if you will not give us our demands. I'm giving you one last chance or we'll make you meet Bernie at the cemetery."
All GRAF personnel get ready for an impending attack at the signal of Min. Coventry. The planes were ready and all other equipment.
-
"If you so much as lay a hand on Bernie - yet alone kill him - we will bomb your capital and no Reich will be spared in our bombing campaign. We just want Bernie to be released alive and no harm will come to any Reitzmen. But, if you refuse, we will launch the most aggressive bombing campaign since New Moreland." The Chairman said, solemnly. He did not want to have to bomb Reitzmag.
-
Min. Coventry: "Excuse me Chairman, but the government has nothing to do with this. Just give us the planes for free with HQ and we'll release Bernie with no harm."
-
"Look," said the Chairman. "Just let Bernie go and we will turn our planes around. Is that alright?"
-
Min. Coventry: "Ok, fine. We'll release him tomorrow. We just want the aircraft. We're planning to do something with it. We'll release him without harm. Just help us on what we want."
-
"No, you will release him now and we will discuss planes at international talks in Vayinaod. These talks will allow us to be on an equal footing with no threat to anybody's life so that we can discuss this situation peacefully, with the help of Kristian."
-
Min. Coventry: "How will we send him back there then, no need for stupid Nylund. Like I said, I'm doing this for the military but this does not involve the government. It is very usual that you will ask for payments too just like those capitalist pigs from Inquista."
-
"Okay. Listen to me. You will release Bernie and let him travel to Pravoslaviya immediately, where he will be picked up. Then, you will either come to talks to try and get something out of us, or get nothing. I remind you that 100s of planes that outnumber your airforce are on their way. It is up to you whether Reitzmag is spared the fire of war. Make the right choice and just agree to these terms. Thank you."
-
Min, Coventry: "Okay, we'll assure you of his safe departure. Of course I can see you're the one to get from us and not you giving our requests. Just give us planes and everything will be fine. No wars, no guns, no violence, just peaceful things will run smoothly."
A motorcade of tanks and military equipment brings Sanders to the border of Pravoslaviya. There they wait for the service.
-
The Chairman contacted some old friends on the Pravoslaviyan border who assured him that when Sanders arrived he would be swiftly flown back to Icholasen -- this assurance coming from a substantial cash payment from Nicoleizian operatives on the ground. Jirluchuz ordered 75% of the planes to return to mainland Icholasen, avoiding Gallorum and 25% to return to Czech Slavia just in case the Reiztmag government tried anything. The missiles from the subs were still armed and ready.
The Chairman returned to his call with the Prime Minister. "Prime Minister, it seems we have resolved this crisis peacefully and I'm glad. If you want, we can have talks but I see no need as we have agreed everything already."
-
PM Johnson: "What's the matter Mr. Chairman? There's no crisis...what are you talking about?"
-
"Can I get someone who knows what's going on on the line? Is this over or do I have to start launching missiles?" The Chairman said, exasperated. "Get me on the line with that Coventry guy. Mr. Coventry, is this over now? And do you want talks or not? Icholasen considers this agreement to be the end of it."
-
PM Johnson: "I'm sorry Mr. Chairman, it's me the PM. I'm not Mr. Coventry"
Min. Coventry calls back to the Chairman.
Min. Coventry: "Hello Mr. Chairman! It looks like you have Barney, I mean Bernie now. Now, give us the planes."
-
"We will not be committing to that over the phone." The Chairman said. "We have Bernie now on his way back to Icholasen and will not negotiate with you any further over the phone. If you want to negotiate, we will meet you in Vayinaod tomorrow. Thank you for releasing Bernie."
