Good afternoon everyone and thank you for your assistance to this Press Conference.
Today, we are releasing the new European Union's mobile phone application, which will make the European citizens be informed about what is going on in Europolis and outside Europolis, whenever one of us is travelling to an European Nation or to another region. This idea has had an amazing support from my 2 friends and also workmates, the Premier Commissioner, Ms. Eilidh Whiteford and also the External Affairs Commissioner, Mr. Antoni Reynels. Both of them have made lots of proposals and ideas to the mobile phone application that for sure will help every single European citizen. And now, I'm proceeding to explain the general details of the app and then, what Europeans will be able to find in the Internal Affairs section.
The new mobile phone application will be able to be downloaded in the Play Store and also in the App Store, as in the other possible places to download apps for the mobile phones. It will be called "European Commission" and will be free for every single European, as this pretends to be a service that the Commission offers to the citizens. It won't weigh a lot, it's about 30 Megabytes and it will be divided into 3 sections:
- Premier Commissioner
- Internal Affairs Commissioner
- Foreign Affairs Commissioner
This will be the app logo:

In the Internal Affairs section, European Union's citizens will be able to find the most recent news of my department, as also my biography, my agenda and interviews with the European Media. It will be possible to message me via email or the app, so I can be in touch with the European citizens. If they don't want to reveal their personal data when they write to me, there's an option to write an anonymus email to me. I'll try to answer as much as I can so I can listen to the Europeans' suggestions and proposals.
Thank you all and I cede the word to Mr. Antoni Reynels, the Foreign Affairs Commissioner.
