Internal Affairs Commissioner - Montenbourg Summit

The Motorcade arrives at the Lexington House.
Jean Claude Juncker is received by the press, and welcomed by the Prime Minister of Montenbourg Xavier Bettel and his husband Gautier Destenay of Bettel.
"Good to see you Jean Claude, welcome to Montenbourg." said the Prime Minister. The Montenbourg National Anthem was played after the Hymn of Europe.
After they entered the house and followed to the Dining Room.
"So Jean Claude, how's Europe working?"Said the Prime Minister.
-
"It's working good" Juncker said and then laughed. "Now being serious, the new commission hasn't been formed yet, because of the delay with the European Court of Justice Elections. According to what I've been able to know, because I don't manage the Elections and all that stuff, they want to pair the Commission terms with the ECoJ term so elections take place at the same time." Juncker said.
He looked at the dining room, which was impressive for him. After giving it a fast look, he spoke again: "At least I have been able to convince both the Spanish and Reitzmic Prime Ministers to leave their differences apart and finally sign some peace. I hope I can get into the others matters I have to do as fast as possible. Also, I would like to apologize for not coming before the elections here, as I wanted to focus on them and ensure that what we would talk here would not change in at least 4 months." Said the Internal Affairs Commissioner, who smiled.
He had had a good flight from Europolis airport, in his dreams soon to be called on his behalf, something like "Jean-Claude Juncker - Europolis International Airport". The IATA code would be JER and the ICAO would be EUJE. Would be cool if someday that was accomplished, but that would not happen in some years.
-
"No apologies. But what's happening in Reitzmag is truly disappointing, here the aristocrats and members of the court are really outrage that for the first time in the history of Europe a monarch has been senteced. On the other hand, the uprising of communist regimes by coups is really stressfull, there is even a bloc supporting this regimes. "
The dinner was served, soft music played. While the husband of the PM Gauthier Destenay said to the Commissioner "Mr. Juncker your job for human rights has been outstanding must say."
-
"Well, about the Reitzmag thing I can't make a statement saying they are wrong and I won't side with Reitzmag, nor I will with Spain but with the European Court of Justice, which has been really neutral and tried to be as fair as possible. Talking about Communist regimes, we are trying to so our best to stop them but at the end, we can't control member states and we won't do that because that would restrict democracies and freedoms."
Juncker ate gently and listened to Gauthier. He shallowed the food and then spoke: "Thank you for the compliment Ms. Destenay. We are actually working on another programme in the Internal Affairs Commission called "Anti-Racism Action Plan" , which would try to end with racism on our Union. We have made a poster and we are working on the measures but I can't tell anything as it's not done yet."* Jean-Claude smiled and went on eating.
-
"Yes, I understand. You know, I don't see much participation in instruments such as the Eurocorps, why is that? on the other hand, we acknowledge your work towards peace. By the way, I've never got your opinion on Cllr. Granger proposal to end child marriage in the EU, so sad that we couldn't get the votes, she's actively thinking to propose it again at the council." Said the Prime Minister.
"Sounds excellent, you can count me in for this campaign." Said Gauthier.
-
Juncker thought on the Eurocorps, but it wasn't his competence but Antoni's. So, he decided to advise them about it: "I'm not in charge of the Eurocors as it's not my competence but the External Affairs Commissioner's. So, if you would like to get more information about them, I suggest you to set up a meeting with him. He is a very professional man, and knows what he is doing every day. Then, about the Cllr. Granger proposal, it was a great idea that needs to apply those suggestions the council made into the bill. I think if she redoes the bill with the suggestions given on that debate, and gives freedom to member states in terms of the age and stuff like that, it could go forward."
Juncker smiled at Ms. Gauthier. "That's great. Thank you very much. I'm also looking at the EHO closely and I think they are pushing forward a great job too."
-
After a great dinner, Juncker had to leave back to Europolis. He thanked Xavier and his consort for the great time he has had on Lexington House and he remembered the Montenbourgian Prime Minister about his constant interest on every European Country. He was escorted to the airport, took the plane and the aircraft left with the moonlight.
The Internal Affairs Commissioner thought on his retirement, which would be in 4 months. "Maybe a secret service agent, Jean-Claude." Thought the Commissioner. Who knows, but as of now, he is focusing on what he loves: His job.
