I’m speaking to you at what I know is an increasingly challenging time, a time of disruption in the life of o both of our countries, a disruption that has brought grief to some. The King was at his office waiting for a response from his Private Secretary on the call. After some time of waiting, the private secretary came back to inform him that the phone has been answered. He took over the conversation and listened to the Montenbourgian queen.
"Greetings your majesty, I'm glad to hear from you as well. Maybe we could release the formalities for now since we are both monarchs. Thank you for accepting my call, the people of Reitzmag and my family will be delighted to hear your greetings to them. I also send my warmest greetings to the people of Montenbourg and to your family in return. And, a happy birthday to you as well, I'm glad to see you still well during these tough situations. Well indeed, the situation had been very hard and the issues have been affecting our family since it all began. I know our countries had some misunderstanding and broken relations recently and I'm very happy to fix it with you." -
“I want to reassure you that if we remain united and resolute, we will overcome it. We can start by promoting further mutual understanding between the peoples of Montenbourg and Reitzmag by a wider exchange of knowledge and professional talents through educational contacts. Also I will proposed a joint effort to scholarship Reitzmics to study here in Montenbourg by a trust fund.”
-
"I agree that it is now up to us royals to fix this situation now that our politicians are in a big disagreement. I'm very much open to agree on a student and cultural exchange, as well as enhancement of trade and immigration between our countries. I believe these would help boost both our economies and help in developing our tourism industry, service sectors, and industrial sectors."
-
"I agree. On the matters of trade and immigration we need to put the air vent in, because of the current tenure of the Bordeaux Decree and the current elections. I suggest we start a draft on the joint effort to a student and cultural exchanges programs".
-
"I very much agree, student and cultural exchange would be a good way to start better relations despite the recent political situation."
-
"Indeed, shall we proceed then."
-
"I think that it wouldn't be safe if we draft this agreement through an unsecure phone line. Perhaps we could meet somewhere else clandestinely?" said George as he felt that there might be people who would wiretap the conversation and leak what had been discussed. He thought of some places he could go to and meet the Montenbourgian queen secretly, but he doesn't know any place that would be safe in which no one, not even the government, would know about such meeting.
