Travel Ban Brickston
We regret that after meeting to discuss the outbreak of the Mystery Virus in Brickston we have decided the only course of action is to enact a temporary travel ban to Brickston for any Strathaen resident other than medical personell and denial of entry of anyone who has been in Brickston within a month before attempting entry to Strathae. Furthermore all trucks and trains from Brickston will be subject to a full bio-hazard check before entry into Strathae with drivers and crew banned from leaving their vehicles except in emergencies. We hope that once under control and eliminated we can lift this ban on Brickston. -
Brickston Travel Restrictions lifted
As a Result of changes in the virus situation in Brickston all travel restrictions have been lifted. -
Statement on Doxing
Today as part of our efforts to fight Breizhighist and nationalist extremism of the likes that Blairites promote we have presented our new Privacy Act including sections on Doxing in the Tionól Clans. The act will make it illegal for the press and non-government agencies to publish a persons name, photo, personal adresses, workplace details and contact details in the same article, post, list or wall without expressed permission of the said person combining any two of these will be an illegal act unless one has expressed permission of the person whos details they are publishing, This will especially apply to lists. ~Though partially exempt the government will have to have all such lists combining such details vetted with a statement of intent on how details are used to check it is legal and in the public interest for them to do so and go through comittees and at a new Data Privacy Agency of Strathae first with the person able to pursue government through the courts without cost if they think an abuse of privacy law has taken place. Penalties for breaking the law shall be fines of not less than 50,000 Copars or up to 10 years in jail depending on severity of the breach.Furthermore all allegations of lying, criminality or bigotry against individuals must go through court before it can be published in press to ensure only legitimate allegations are printed and no one is subject to a trial by public oppinion. We will of course be listening to any concerns people may have over this law but we hope this will protect the privacy of Strathaens and foreigners living within Strathae.

Statement on new press regulations and visas
Many will know in line with our privacy and libel acts coming into force and changes in the Media Act we have been on a process of reforming our relationship with media.The key changes in this field are in how media is regulated with all journalists and media required to register with government and if from abroad put money aside in an escrow account to pay for any fines as result of breaking the privacy and libel acts. We would like to say we are committed to freedom of the media and freedom of opinion but when that crosses into violating privacy or slandering a citizen or organisations name this is not protected speech. We welcome all media be it from Istkalen, Strathae or whatever country they may be from , journalists will be garunteed to be able to operate safely and without fear and if they avoid privacy and libel violations the money will be returned to the organisation or individual journalist or documentary maker after 12 months. We believe this a fair and balanced approach that allows for media freedom while also protecting privacy of our people and protecting our people from libelous accusations without evidence. -
Apology for Blair Gobnite McLucais government
We the PoT administration of Strathae would like to appologise on behalf of our party and the government and the people of Strathae for the government of Blair Gobnet McLucais more correctly known as Blair Gobshite McLucais.We especially appologise to all Catholics of the world for her shameful persecution of Catholics in Strathae. We are a nation of tolerance and acceptance and Blair Gobshite McLucais and her supporters are true traitors to the state and those values of acceptance, tolerance and democracy we hold dear. We will do all we can to continue to protect Catholics from Blairites and their extremism and blind hatred. That is not what Strathae is about and they should be ashamed for ever having graced this nation and we will work to represent the values of love, tolerance, acceptance and hospitality for all regardless of your creed ,culture or ethnicity. I hope you the world can forgive Strathae for the pain caused to the world by Blair Gobshite McLucais's government. -
On protests in Istkalen
The Strathaen government encourage Strathaens to act in accordance with new decrees in Istkalen and to cease the use of the song " We don't want no gobshite" in the country. We still welcome the the Strathae is Sorry protests but it will take a different form with no singalongs. We encourage instead baking food and drinks as well as handing out of leaflets by the association for Istkalen. Your support of acceptance , tolerance and diversity has showed the best of Strathaen values, and we value that but we urge you to be peaceful even with the close minded Strathaens who may not show such values. -
Revocation of licensing requirements for media
We are pleased to announce that the acts regulating media and privacy have been amended as of today in the parliament. Media outlets will no longer be required to get a license to operate if they are not operating as a business and will no longer be required to submit stories before publishing to the regulators. They will now only be required to continue to not publish home addresses of people and personal contact details.If they break these rules they may fact penalties or lawsuits. Any person will still be required to not publish personal adresses and contact numbers but may publish or post a work number or adress.Protests will be allowed outside of work places and in public areas as long as a person is not stalked. Protests outside of home adresses will still be prohibited providing it is not a work adress also with contact numbers not to be shared unless they are not also a registered work number. Any details on internal public databases are still subject to privacy law.

Statement on Community Duty Program
Following the courtcase in the ECOJ we have suspended with immediate effect the Community Duty Programme. We have instead founded a Civil Duty Programme which anyone on Community Duty Programme may transfer over to provide their day of free voluntary labour. The fine and requirement of Community Duty in order to vote in elections has been removed and only benefits such that directly involve getting free voluntary labour to help you shall be denied if you are not in a programme. This shall affect things such as access to labour to help build your house on the land granted by the local authority. The new programme we believe is in line with recommendations. We shall also be allowing 10% of your income tax to be credited towards a registered Strathaen charity if you take part in Civil Duty and perform the minimum 8 hours a week to qualify for such a benefit. The programme shall continue its role of linking volunteers , charities and community organisations. -
Joint strategy on Hate with Strathae All Sports Association and all member-organisations
We are concerned that there have been a few incidents of hate chants and singing of the old anthem. In response to this the Strathae All Sports Association including the Strathae Football Association and the policing authorities have decided to work together to crack down on this hatred in a civil manner.The following measures will be introduced:1:Each major professional match the Strathaen Sports agencies organise in each sport are allowed to they will send 30 undercover private investigators to film and incidents that may slip through the cracks of other systems.
2:Every time one buys a ticket for any domestic Strathaen game or any of the allotment of tickets that is sold by Strathaen sports agencies for international games they will have to agree to a web bot searching the web and social media with their name and image and checking for any hate content towards any race , ethnicity, nationality , gender, religion or sexuality within the last 5 years, this will also include any videos of including singing the old national anthem after the ban on singing it was announced , if evidence of such transgressions are found the will be denied the ticket and added to the list of those blocked from buying tickets any attending any events organised by the associations for a period of 5 years
3:Before every match any names and images on the ban list will be sent by SASA to the relevant border, immigration authorities, sporting agencies and policing agencies before any match so the local national authorities can decide whether to let them into the country or any cities near the matches with Strathae.We take the committing of hate speech and spewing of hate towards other countries fans seriously and there will be consequences to such actions .We hope this will curb incidents and get them as close to zero as possible and give Europe confidence Strathae takes hate in any form seriously and will not tolerate it from our sports supporters.

The Strathaen government wishes Christians Europe wide and especially Catholics a very happy Easter on the most important of your holidays. While Strathae and the Catholic Church and some other churches may not agree on all issues we can respect the great nobility of your faith and the importance of this holiday to you. We hope you have a very happy easter full of blessings and continue to be a blessing on our community who is essential in charity work and supporting the universal values of human love and kindness. We believe you are a vital part of Strathae. -
Message for Europe
We'd like to say to Europe we are sorry for the Blairite era and the oppression of Catholics and Christians during that era. We know the whole of Europe was deeply affected and aggrieved and we are particuarly sorry to Catholics and Christians of course. You did not deserve your treatment but there is one thing we know and that is appologising and merely preventing future incidences with legal reforms and changes and additional protections in laws for Christians is not enough and never will be for 20 years of oppression. We understand the need for atonement and putting things right. That is why we have decided to give every Christian who has lived in Strathae for over 6 months of the last 20 years a 30,000 Copar settlement or a €42,800 each and the Catholic Church, Lutheran Church , Inquistan Orthodox Church and other church denominations in Strathae €7.4 Billion in reparations combined. We have processed the payments to the Catholic Church , Lutheran Church , Inquistan Orthodox Church and many other denominations already through a donation that is non-reversible. We have also sent non-reversible money sums of €42,800 each or are sending as soon as possible this money to all Christians we have banking details of who we know have lived in Strathae for at least 6 months out of the last 20 years.We have asked your national governments for your details of your bank account of sort code and bank account numbers for people we have names of but out of date bank account details if we have the correct address. For those we do not have the correct address we have asked for that also to send a letter to of apology for the Blairite era. We ask anyone who has lived in Strathae over the the last 20 years for at least 6 months of that time and doesn't recieve money in the next month to contact us give your address and number on a form on the Strathae Atonement Programme section of the national government website or to contact the Strathaen embassy to fill in a form to give us this information and claim your €42,800 for each person. We hope Europe can forgive Strathae , normalise relations and put this sorry episode of the Blairite era behind us. Thousands were harrassed and doxed by Blairites and it is not correct or in line with Strathaen values and is a stain on our nation that this episode happened. We just hope you can forgive our nation and hope our atonement for our sins as a nation is enough and welcomed by you and the European nations.We have also asked our embassies to raise the Catholic Papal flag for a period of 6 months as show of solidarity and apology to the Catholic Church directly and are inviting the Pope to Strathae to meet our government for an atonement ceremony where we will hand him an official letter of apology and give an official apology speech to the Catholic Church and Pope specifically. We also wish for the Inquistan Orthodox Church and head to attend to recieve their letter and apology.

New religious protections
We have decided after review to announce some key reforms to protect religious minorities. While reasonable criticism will be allowed multiple criticism and harassment of individuals beliefs will be considered a religious hate crime. Furthermore there shall be no protest zones outside the entrances and carparks of religious venues such as churches and temples to prevent harassment of worshippers going into the church or temple. We appreciate protest is an important part of society and free speech is but this must not extend into harassment of those simply conducting their religious beliefs.These were considered under the previous government but put on hold we have decided it was a reasonable and balance measure. -
Recognising of Blairite Cultural Genocide against Christians and in particular Cultural Genocide against Catholics and Orthodox
We as a government and nation today officially classify the opression under the Blairite period in our history and in particular their policies and actions regarding religion as cultural genocide against Christians especially those in relation to policies towards Catholics and Orthodox. We acknowledge the Catholic and Orthodox Churches and all Christians in Strathae as victims of Cultural Genocide and as such will be appologising in this regard this weekend at the apology ceremony to the church heads including the Archbishop of Sruighlea , the Patriarch of the Inquistan Orthodox Church in Strathae and the Orthodox Church in Strathae among other Church heads. We have also had word 40 ministers and heads in cabinet over the 20 Blairite years have been arrested on charges of cultural genocide. They will be tried and if found guilty given the appropiate punishment that provides justice to their victims. We will make sure that the victims of this cultural genocide receive justice as well as compensation for the Blairite Cultural Genocide and ask Europe to do the same as us in recoginising this period as a Cultural Genocide against Christians in Strathae. -
Happy Pride Month
We wish as a nation and with all major parties and leaders of the Breizhghist denominations to release the following statement:
"There is no such thing as a gay, bisexual or a straight person only lovers. There is no such thing as a transgender person only male , female or non-binary. We will continue to spread the message we are all one and these is no difference between two men or women loving each other or mixed gender couples and there is no difference between those who were mistaken as male or female at birth and have finally had their true gender recognised and those who were correctly identified as the gender they are. We wish happy Pride to all and hope one day we an get over the times where a day such as Pride has to exist due to Bigots hate and the need to remember bigots actions and attitudes against LGBT and instead we just recognise humans are humans in all their weird and wonderful diversity." -
Apology for the use of the word foreign and foreigner and change in communication style
The Strathae government appologises for the uses of the word foreign, foreigner and foreign nationals in government communications to the public and is reviewing its communications policy in response. We acknowledge how it was offensive to people who are not born Strathaen or who haven't acquired Strathaen citizenship. We will henceforth from now on be encouraging the use of the word "Cónaitheoir Neamhshaoránach" or non-citizen resident in English statements and "Aoi Sealadach" or Temporary Guest to refer to tourists and people from other nations visiting Strathae to honour how welcome they are. We apologise to anyone who was offended by the official use of the word foreigner or foreign and will not use it in any official communications or for any categorizations for data points.We also strongly encourage acedemia and media to do the same.
