1. Rules concerning diplomatic missions established in Ineland

Diplomatic missions established in the United Principalities of Ineland see the boundaries to their activities established by MAE/MBZ Reg. 35/01.1929 (modified in 1963, 1975, 1995 and 2012). These are some highlights of said regulation:

Types of diplomatic missions: The main types of diplomatic missions recognised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are Embassies and Consulates. However, other kinds of diplomatic missions might be established depending on billateral agreements.
Staff: Diplomatic and administrative staff attached to a diplomatic mission is limited to a maximum number of 150 in the case of Consulates. This number does not include staff dedicated to non-diplomatic activities. Embassy staff is limited to 700.
Security detail - personnel: Generally, security detail components attached to a diplomatic mission are limited to 20% of the total mission staff. That number will never exceed 60. However, exceptions can be made.
Security detail - weapons: Diplomatic missions may contain firearms for the protection of staff and security of installations. However, these firearms will always be limited to handguns. The number of these firearms may never exceed the official number of security personnel. The use of non-lethal devices and methods is not regulated.
Vehicle fleet: Embassies are allowed a maximum of 10 vehicles. That number is reduced to 5 in the case of Consulates.
