Complaint about Time to Process Group Application
-
To the Council Speaker
I would like to complain about the slow processing of the application for setting up the European League of Sovereign States. The application follows all procedures has the correct amount of sponsors with more waiting to join after set up and was posted in June. It is already over 2 months and no official response has been heard. I call on the speaker to act and do his duty looking at the application and approving it if it meets requirements.
The current inaction means the group is being put at a disadvantage as we cannot recruit members or process applications of membership by councillours or other politicians and makes it hard for us to sort out candidates for commission positions if it is not handled soon. I would like to see this issue resolved.I would like to remind you of the democratic ramifications of applications not being processed in a timely manner and I believe it has gone far beyond an acceptable processing time.I also note previous Eurogroups have had their applications approved within on day, I'm sure this is adminstration error but it is important it is resolved.
Yours Sincerely James Mizrachi-Roscoe

I apologize on my own part and on behalf of the Office of the Council Speaker. Application reviews were placed on hold during my emergency hiatus to address personal issues at home, and I apologise that a clear plan of action was not executed to impart outstanding administrative duties to the Deputy Speaker's Office.
The application placed by the European League of Sovereign States will be reviewed with the upmost expediency.
Charles Michel
Council Speaker
