Bernie Sanders was leaving the UNSR for the first time in a long time. He knew that these negotiations were not going to be easy - oh girl not at all honey. However he knew that he had to try - for the safety of his people depended on it. Sanders knew he was in a better position than Whiteford - he controlled Nicoleizian land yes gawd. He was willing to make minor concessions but it was clear that he wasn’t going to budge … too much.
Eilidh Whiteford used to be the baddest bitcj in Europe. However, she had taken a tumble since being forced out of office by some cisgender communists. Smh. However, Whiteford was prepared to come to the table as long as there was Inquistan representation. She knew that a representative from the government of Mikaela Klingenberg would be: smart, intelligent, and fashion forward. Communism, Whiteford pondered, was about 2 things: no iPhone and bad fashion.
Whiteford was prepared to walk out at any impertinence, she wasn’t sure she should even be going.
Piane Daggot, Europe’s first left wing Internal Affairs Commissioner was ready to mediate. She knew she couldn’t be completely unbiased so she, too, was glad an Inquistan representative was there. Yes mama. This would be her major achievement in office - it couldn’t go wrong.
The Premier Commissioner, Sofie Čikarová, was going to open the talks with some remarks.

As time passed, it was becoming increasingly clear that the situation regarding the two Icholasens was going nowhere. It was a diplomatic stalemate. While Firoux was able to help maintain the diplomatic stalemate by keeping the UNSR politically isolated while in Europolis, he now found himself far less able to do so from his new position in Saint Dominico. Even more troubling, the political will to keep the UNSR isolated was deteriorating across Europe. Most European states have shown themselves to be of little patience, and even fewer have genuine political allegiances. Simply put, these heauxes ain't loyal.
The ongoing stalemate has worked out for no one, least of all for Nicoleizian citizens themselves, who were living a life under harsh international sanctions on their island, as well as those who were suffering abroad, including those who had to escape from Copala City to Anastasia City.
When news broke that the Archbishop would help mediate these discussions, Firoux knew he had to find a way to tag along. On God. While the Archbishop was attending the summit as a mediator, and not a negotiator, Firoux still didn't fully trust her capabilities or her ultimate fealty. The Archbishop fully supported Free Icholasen through and through, there was no doubt about that. However, Firoux knew that the Archbishop only bled Free Nicoleizian orange because she was unwavering in her support to her bezzie, Queen Anastasia, and that she was not dedicated to the United Dominions itself like he was, or the the ideals of democracy and international law that Firoux fanatically clung to for that matter. Thus, Firoux did what he did best: he weasled his way into attending the summit as her attaché, to keep an eye on her, and to keep her on the narrow path.
On the flight to Europolis, the Archbishop talked Firoux's ear off, which was the penance the Chief Bishop Secretary would have to pay for his machinations. The Archbishop spoke at length about Nicki Minaj's Reitzmic cousin's friend who became impotent after undergoing Asianization surgery. Firoux found the whole story to be dubious, but the Archbishop was truly spooked and worried about the supposed claims. The Archbishop contemplated out loud if the College of Bishops should ban Inquistan citizens from getting Asianization surgery in Reitzmag, but Firoux quickly shot the idea down, and reminded the Archbishop of her pilot Jimin.
"Jimin truly has been a new man since getting his Asianization surgery, don't you think? He's now finally truly in the skin he was meant to be in. Everyone deserves that sort of happiness and freedom," Firoux soap-boxed.
The Archbishop contemplated silently for a moment before smiling and then curtly replying, "so true bestie."
After several equally deep discussions, the Inquistan delegation's plane arrived in Europolis, and the Archbishop and the Chief Secretary Bishop were whisked away to the summit. Naturally, the press surrounded the entire area to report on the historic negotiation. The Archbishop was wearing a glorious white dress for the occasion, which symbolised peace, which is what she was ultimately hoping for. The Archbishop made a scene for the press when she arrived at the meeting area, before then being tugged along by Firoux to walk inside the building.

Slavomíra Černá was quite comfortable in her fairly new position of Czech Ambassador to Inquista. She was away from affairs inside the Socialist Republican Party, away from important decision making at home yet also away from the attention of President Reiserová while maintaining an important position. This situation worked for both women and Černá wasn't expecting that anything would change. That is why she was shocked to discovered, that President Reiserová has send her a message requesting her presence at the meeting between the UNSR and Free Icholasen. Despite the negative feelings both of them felt towards the other, Reiserová recognized Černá as liked by the Archbishop Kligenberg and very familiar with Korojaunu Sanders, the only time Reiserová saw Sanders, she was still an actress preparing to play a military commander in a video game. Černá quickly went to the airport and left for Prague.
In Prague,Černá, in a conservative dress, was greeted by President Reiserová dressed in a military uniform of the People's Army of the Democratic Republic of Czech Slavia, Reiserová's way of demonstrating her importance to the foreign representatives while hiding how truly small she still felt compared to them. To Černá it again and immediately reminded the main reason she disliked Reiserová's form of governance. To her it seemed that there no longer was any depth towards anything, there was nothing real, everything was an act, everything was replaced by shallowness. While Reiserová was officialy the Head of the Armed Forces and had the right to wear a military uniform, her only connection to the army was the role of the military commander in a video game, and even then her character was scratched, as defeating the character played by the President in a game would be considered an insult to the state. Yet there she stood, a former b-movie actress, in a military uniform, smiling. And yet, all she said to her was: "Comrade President, the Ingenious Leader of the Nation, I am very pleased to see you again"
The flight to Europolis was mostly silent and after landing both women refused to comment to the press before the meeting. Heading to the building quickly. There both of them greeted other representatives, Reiserová by saluting before shaking their hand, and tokk a seat waiting for the meeting to officialy begin.
Once everyone has arrived Premier Commissioner Čikarová stood up and begun her short speech.
"Ladies and gentlemen, honored guests, I am honored to welcome you in Europolis and begin the meeting between the Union of Nicoleizian Socialist Republics and the Nine Dominions of Icholasen. I believe it will be productive and will pave a way for a peaceful resolution of the conflict and for a prosperous future of not only Icholasen, but the entire Europe and you have the full support of the European Commission in achieving those goals.
I can't sadly stay here with you, but in spirit I will be here with you. Ladies and gentlemen, I ask you to act wisely so that the future generations may live happy lives, safe from the dangers of an armed conflict and from suffering. And so that they may look back at this meeting as a step towards a happy and prosperous life. Peace will prevail. Thank you."
After finishing her speech, Čikarová put her hand on Daggot's shoulder, before leaving the room and leaving Daggot to preside over the meeting.
