Cllr. Maverick's resignation as Spokesperson of the European Progressive Alliance

Fellow EPA Caucus members,
I must today submit my resignation as Spokesperson of the European Progressive Alliance, due to the fact I shall be vacating my post as Councillor for the Republic of Derecta in the following days.
However, this is not a farewell. The ties that unite me to this party are too strong. I ran for Chairman of the EPA against Cllr. Chakpram of Gallambria back in 2017, and became under her lead Spokesperson & Secretary. Then, when Cllr. Firoux of Inquista became our current Chairman, I assumed the post of Spokesperson I had already had the honour to fulfil. Today, I must renounce to such duty, but what I will never do is renounce to the values this party has inspired in me.
The Derectan Democratic Confluence, following our latest General Elections, has been tasked by the Houses of Parliament to appoint my successor. I am sure that you will all welcome them with the same kindness you did when I first became a member of this Caucus.

I am saddened by your resignation, Councillor Maverick, but I am heartened by the fact that I have had the great pleasure of working alongside you as a colleague and as a friend for the past few years. You were not only an invaluable member of the EPA, but also an invaluable part of the European Council. You have been an active voice in the Council, where you have brought forth new and fresh ideas, and have brought an insightful perspective to often heated debates. You will be greatly missed, but we at the EPA are eager to see where your future will take you.
Thank you for all your contributions to the EPA and to the European Union. We wish you all the best. You will always have our support - you are forever our Mad Maverick.

I would like to recognize Coun. Maverick for his contributions as a European Councilor and as Chairman of this Political Party. Even though the URR has only got representation in the EPA recently, we have heard of things that Coun. Maverick had done causing great developments within Europe.
Coun. Maverick, you will always remain as an icon of European Integrity.
