The European Court of Justice has decided to accept the petition of Petitioner Speaker Charles Micheal pertaining to violations of the Elected and Accountable Council Act of 2020, 1. II & V. III by the Government of the Union of Syndicates. The petitioner (henceforth Appelant) presented that the petitioner (henceforth respondent) violated the Elected and Accountable Council Act of 2020 and calls for the Suspension of the Representation of the Union of Syndicates within the EU Council. This court, in accordance with the Constitution of the European Union and the European Court of Justice Case Procedures Act of 2013, grants the writ of certiorari to the Appellant and hereby requests both parties to dutifully present or send representation to appear before this court.

This case, Charles Micheal v. Union of Sydincates is now OPEN. The appellant, Speaker Charles Michel, may deliver their opening statement first, followed by that of the respondent, a individual representing the government of the Union of Sydnicates.

Before delivering any statement to this court, please provide your name and relation to the respective part for the record.

Speaker Michel, you or your advocate (if present to this court at present), may begin.

In light of the passage of the Amendment to the European and Accountable Council Act 2020, the clauses referenced and the remedy proposed are no longer part of EU Law.

While I still maintain that the Union of Syndicates was in breach of EU Law during the period prior to the passage of the amendment, the repeal of EACA §V (specifically §V.III) makes any prosecution invalid, and it was not my intention to establish a court precedent or litigate a case heavily dependent on the Court's position regarding the potentials in the retroactive effect of repeal legislation when not specifically enumerated in said repeal legislation.

As such, I hereby request a Leave of Court be granted so that I may file a nolle prosequi with intent to cease prosecution of this case, for the justifications cited above, and have it dismissed without prejudice by this Court.
