Joint European Free Travel Area Agreement
We the members of this treaty affirm the common bonds between our peoples and common benefits of free travel to our nations and so establish the Joint European Free Travel Area
Article I:
I. Citizens or permanent residents of the Joint European Free Travel Area(JEFTA) member states may travel between each other on any photographic government I.D unless banned from a member state
II. The members of this agreement shall abolish all permanent border posts on borders with members of the treaty
III. The nations of this zone shall introduce a joint border control computer system with a list of any wanted persons by any country within the zone
IV. Countries may set up random drugs checks and goods checks on the borders
V. Customs and minimum product standards shall be aligned between the members of this zone
VI. Countries must align to agreed minimum standards on products for the zone to be in effect and must police their external borders with non-members appropriately. These will be decided by a board consisting of 3 representatives from each member state with the power to set up sub-committees with 1 representative from each member state
VII. There shall be no tariffs on goods moving within the zone
Citizens of the Joint European Free Travel Area(JEFTA) may access special access lanes in Airports and Ports where security checks are needed to cut down on the amount of time spent in security clearance.
VIII. Outside visitors may be able to apply for a JEFTA Tourist or Business visa for up to 91 days as long as they are not banned from any JEFTA member country and can prove ability to support themselves
IX. All nations shall have access to a joint JEFTA border control computer system which shall check visa statuses and shall be checked for any immigration bans in in any JEFTA country or wanted people by law enforcement in any JEFTA member state.
X. Visitors on an ECON Visa shall be able to travel within the zone for the duration of their ECON Visa.Article II:
I. New members may join the zone subject to a majority vote of members of the agreement
II. Failure to meet minimum standards on product standards and security standards at external borders may result in expulsion from the zoneMembers:
