10 Downing Street
Another nation had joined the EU once again, this time in the Caspian. Simon knows how important it is to build relations with countries in the Caspian Ring of Nations. After waking up and preparing for the trip early in the morning, he left Downing Street with a convoy heading to the airport. Many media personnel have come with him to witness the historic first summit between Selvaris and Reitzmag, two of the remaining hereditary monarchies in Europe.Hampton City International Airport
As the convoy arrives at the airport, Selvarians that just arrived for tourism welcome him by waving flags of both Selvaris and Reitzmag. The Prime Minister headed immediately to the immigration counters and went to ride one of the Vespinas. As the stairs are cleared from the plane and the honour guards marched out, Vespina slowly taxied to the runway. After receiving a go-signal from the ATC Tower, Vespina took off for the 1-hour flight to Selvaris. FA.11 Vipers then join each of the 3 Vespinas as escorts as they exit Reitzmic Airspace.St. Vincent, Selvaris
After an hour of flight, the plane carrying Simon and some members of the cabinet and press arrive at the designated airfield. At the window, the prime minister sees the welcoming party while the plane moves in to park. The stairs mate with the exit as the doors slowly open. And after a few minutes of preparation, Simon appeared and descended the steps to be received by the Chancellor of Selvaris."Greetings Mr. Chancellor! It's so nice to see you and to visit this beautiful country for the first time. Congratulations on your ascension to the European Union and I hope that we would foster great relations from this day on." he said as he shook the hands of the Chancellor.

Before
After a mid-year tour of Selvaris to see the Welfare of its Citizens, Chancellor Castellon Vilafor was in a good mood for what would present itself today. While waiting for the arrival of the Prime Minister, Castellon was talking to his aids rehearsing small points that needed to be addressed at today's Summit. Castellon was quite happy with how they had prepared for today's esteemed guest, so he wasn't worried at all, and then over the megaphone, a woman's voice could be heard, "Flight 441-Reitzmag arriving, plot 2" and so it begun. The plane began its parking procedure and stopped. Chancellor Vilafor, his aid and security detail of two walked up to the foot of the plane."Welcome Prime Minister to Selvaris. We are happy to receive you here." Castellon said, with both his hands pointed to the sky.

"Ah but Mr. Prime Minister the honor is all mine," he said as he shook his hand. "Before we head to the Embassy the Emperor wishes that I give you a tour of the city if you can follow me to the limo," he directed them to.

Simon joined the tour and saw the beauty of the country. He was amazed at how progressive and developing it was and saw its potential as a partner both politically, economically, and defensively. As the tour ended, he chattered with the Emperor and Chancellor as they went to the meeting area.
"I'm very much impressed at how progressive and developing your country is and I see a lot of potential for our partnership. I have a lot of things in mind to help boost both our countries' economy and military."
-
Emperor David Xavier Ignatius
The Emperor was staring down at the street where he could see his people starting to fill up. He wasn't liking the way it was turning out, protest never went a good way for the government or the people of which they serve. He sighed and continued to stare at the window, but he continued to listen to everything that the Prime Minister and his Chancellor were talking about. He had briefed his Chancellor on what they should talk about and what they shouldn't. And there it was the dreadful subject he did not want to speak about, the Military.
"Mr. Prime Minister," David had spoken, turning around and sitting down on a single chair across both Simon and Silas. "Boosting both our economies is something that I would really like to discuss and do, but our military is another subject. It is a subject that I am not just ready to do with a Nation that I am just getting to know." David said.
Chancellor Castellon Vilafor
Castellon knew that it was his time to enter the talks again so he nodded to His Imperial Majesty and continued. "What do you suggest we do to boost our Nation's economy?"
-
"Mr. Chancellor, there is no need to doubt on reliance to our Armed Force. It is known that our military is powerful enough that we are willing to protect other nations, especially against rogue regimes. However, I will respect your decision if you wish to remain independent on your military might. But, we are willing to provide support through equipment and joint training efforts. And we would be willing to defend Selvaris in an unprovoked invasion."
"Although, military things aside. I'm thinking if we could loosen our trade barriers and reduce or even eliminate VATs and GSTs to products that we export and import to and from each other. In addition, I also propose that we allow for Visa-free tourist travel between our citizens to help boost each of our tourism industries."
"Apart from that, a lot of automobile and pharmaceutical companies in Reitzmag are expressing interest in opening facilities to manufacture or process their products here. Our tech companies are also interested in investing further here in Selvaris. Mining companies in Reitzmag have also agreed to export more Natural Gas and Coal to Selvaris at a lower price in exchange for Oil and Fish imported to Reitzmag at a lower price also."
"And finally, we also are hoping that we could establish a cultural exchange, student exchange, and technology exchange program. I believe that this would help students from both our countries to experience and learn about each other's countries. I think that such would also help develop the quality of living here in Selvaris."
-
Aid after aid came in and the phones were ringing off the hook in the room next. It was a dark day indeed for Selvaris just like the Television had said. David turned off the TV and sat down. "Mr. Prime Minister we are supposed to have another guest arriving soon but I think it's best that you also stay here at the summit until it's safe just to plan a secure route back to the airport, for you to head back home," David said in a low voices, he was upset at his people but truly he was upset at his father. His fathers' oppressive ways have led to this upbringing, Now he, his people, and his country must suffer.
Castellon wanted to say something to cheer his friend up but after this, he thought it best to let his friend relax and be alone. Mr. Prime Minister let me take you to our embassy restaurant for breakfast our guest should be here later on today we should be ready for him.
-
John Peter Key had been looking forward to the summit. The invitation was unexpected innitially but they had accepted straight away. He greeted the aide friendily " Lovely country you have here, wonderful seeing it from the train."
-
The aid shook John's hand, "Thank Prime Minister," she said "this way, we will be headed to the eighty-ninth floor, if you would please follow me." She pointed to the elevator.
-
John Peter Key was impressed by the lobby and escalator. He followed the aide upstairs.
-
The aid smiled at the Prime Minister "thank you, we are very proud of our city accomplishments. Here we are at the Embassy Restaurant all the food and drinks are free during your visit." She stated she then started to walk back to the elevator "Have a good stay Prime Minister"
-
John Peter Key enjoyed his free drinks and food . The local cuisine was lovely but he knew that having visited before, though not as PM. He looked forward to meeting the Reitz PM , hopefully this would be far more positive than previous encounters.
-
Simon was a bit surprised that there's a 3rd guest to the summit, but surely he'd be happy to make arrangements with two nations in one shot. When John Peter Key came in, he held himself and hoped that this summit would be more productive. He shook his hand and welcomed him to the meeting place.
