[Discussion] Eurorail Project

I know Mr Juncker but this time i rather listen and make some commentary when its needed
Adam Karlssen
Councillor for Mennrimiak -
The routing does work efficiently however in the Duchies it would miss any of our major cities. I would suggest a routing through Cair Para and Porterdam. Then it would connect with our South coast mainline and the central line. Possibly a good addition would be Goudadam too though that would add time to journeys. I hope this will help in any planning.

I'm sorry Mr. Juncker but I do not support this expensive project. I think that my friend Atty. Winston's idea would be cost-effective and more efficient than yours. This would also take years to be available completely in all countries.

Councillor van Allen, what exactly was Atty. Winston's idea again? As far as I can remember, it involved entirely new construction. That would take years as well, and would certainly be much, much more expensive, especially given some of the promises made regarding it.
At the same time, I do not believe that that plan was nearly as fleshed out as Commissioner Juncker's plan and at the same time was much, much, much more idealistic. I am sorry to say this, but I personally believed it to be demagoguery.
I am in full support of this project.
As an aside, please do not drop your microphone again. Far, far, too much interference. Quite an ugly noise.
Eugen Freund
Councillor for the Federal Republic of Austria -
Ah Mr. Freund, Atty. Winston's idea was to use existing railway system in each country and just connect them to each other at its nearest point with priorities on the major cities of each member-states. That would be less costly than Mr. Juncker's idea of making an entirely new railway network for the sake of this project. That is all I can say for now.
Friedrich van Allen
Councilor, Kingdom of Reitzmag -
I don't quite understand. Winston, in his most recent campaign, promised that his "EuroCity" would be a vacuum train, and then promised that it would, in the meantime, I assume, be a train system capable of speeds between 360 km/h and 450 km/h. Neither of those are possible simply using existing infrastructure, at least in Austria. The highest we have is capable only of, if I remember correctly 250 km/h - and that is only one line, between Vienna and Innsbruck. We did research vacuum train technology some time ago - but we found that it would be far, far too dangerous in addition to being expensive. I can find nothing in Winston's official statements that comes even close to implying what you have just said.
Eugen Freund
Councillor for the Federal Republic of Austria -
Well Mr. Freund. I'll explain what Atty. Winston told me about the details on his proposed project during his campaign.
His project is not meant to replace the existing railway systems in each country and instead make them interconnected via the fastest method such as the VaccuRail and MagLev. VaccuRail however is still under testing which is why he said that the VaccuRail upgrade would only happen as soon as it is proven safe. Hence, EuroCity would be using MagLev and would just connect the existing railway networks of each member-states through its nearest stations at the borders. Atty. Winston's plan is to make an interconnection only rather than replace or make a new one.
Friedrich van Allen
Councilor, Kingdom of Reitzmag -
To be fair, based upon our estimations, maglev is generally cheaper than traditional light-rail, and has taken precedence in most of our new medium and some of our light-rail projects; however, on such a large scale, it would be inadvisable, for far, far too much would have to be replaced.
The plan of Commissioner Juncker would simply improve existing track, expanding only where needed, and thus should be somewhat cheaper.
Eugen Freund
Councillor for the Federal Republic of Austria -
Coun. Freund, I'm not starting a pro-Winston or pro-Juncker discussion here but I'd like to say that you might have mistaken Mr. Juncker's idea. As far as I know, Mr. Juncker wants to make an entirely new railway network here. Which I think would be far more expensive.
Friedrich van Allen
Councilor, Kingdom of Reitzmag -
Councillor van Allen, I think you have misunderstood what I've just proposed. As I said, I want to use existing railway and just build the necessary infrastructure to connect European Countries between eachother. I know that your most beloved candidate for Internal Affairs promised to favour your country several times, even in the Commission debate which is something illegal, but this project shall not have any borders, nor any dispute on Winston and Juncker, and viceversa. Apart from this, I'm pretty sure that when the Nine Dominions of Icholasen take back their lands we will be able to open the Eurotunnel between them and Miraco again, and I'm sure there is still lots of tracks to connect with. But I still don't understand why you are terribly mistaken on the Eurorail Project, when the Commission and myself have released every information we had and I have opened a discussion to debate thus.
About Councillor Farage map, I'd like to tell him not to worry, as the European Commission map is just an innacurate version of the route, it's just made to inform you Councillors about the countries that could be connected on Stage 2, nothing more and nothing else. You can count with the major cities being connected, as far as the railway goes on your country we will study it along private companies to create the best routes.
Finally, I would like to thank Councillor Freund for his support and I really hope that we reach Austria as soon as possible, but I think that I won't be Commissioner by the time the Eurorail reaches Austria, or who knows?
Jean-Claude Juncker
Councillor for Spain -
Mr. Juncker! How dare you have stolen Atty. Winston's idea again! This is unbelievable! What a very big electoral fraud!
Friedrich van Allen
Councilor, Kingdom of Reitzmag -
Oh, here he is. Councillor van Allen, the superhero. For your information, he has many superpowers, you see? He can be a judge, he can be god on the heaven's gates saying who enters and who doesn't, he can be a priest and say what it's good and it's bad, he can be a detective and proof Commissioner Juncker has done an electoral fraud, and he can be a magician, by derrailing the topic of the Session, Discussion or whatever to what he wants. Councillors, I'd like to introduce you our reaction when the Reitzmic Councillor becomes a superheroe and uses his superpowers:
Tusk then grabs a photo and shows it
Of course I've censored the bad word, it's not an appropiate word for this Discussion or the Council. Going back to the main topic, Spain will support and co-operate to get the Eurorail moving and we are really pleased to see that our foreign connections will be useful to start it. We are expecting to see this as something real, and the Commission is going on the right way when cutting down costs and using existing infrastructure. Congratulations Commissioner Juncker, this is great content that mostly all of us are expecting to see.
Donald D. Tusk
Councillor for Spain -
As I said before, Councillor Van Allen, Atty. Winston never made a clear public statement endorsing such ideas. It must, as such, be assumed, that Commissioner Juncker developed his own idea independently.
At the same time, you, Councillor Van Allen, cannot claim total ownership over an idea this simple. Even a five-year old child would be capable of coming up with it. To attempt to do so would be the same as attempting to patent the usage of sticks for the purpose of pointing at or poking various objects. Ridiculous!
Please stop with this. I do not understand why you have this infatuation with Atty. Winston.
Eugen Freund
Councillor for the Federal Republic of Austria -
Councillor van Allen, I can tolerate you being confused about the project and endorsing Edmund-Jasper Winston's projects and ideas, because he is from Reitzmag and from your Eurogroup, it's perfectly understandable and I would do the same if I would be the Spanish Councillor and the candidate that lost the election was Spanish, but that's not where I want to get, because it's not the time, nor the appropiate discussion to talk about this.
But what I'm not tolerating it is your untrue statements and fake accussations towards me. In my first run for Commission, I was voted by 18 countries. On my 2nd run, I was voted by 8 countries out of 15, meaning an absolute majority on both runs. This means that those that voted for me also believed in me, and moreover, that if they voted me it's because I didn't enter on an electoral fraud. I deserve the same respect than you, any Councillor, any Commissioner or any Commission candidate which lost 1 or 2 elections, because I didn't fraud anybody and I will never do. The last time someone made a fake statement about me on fraud or copyright the case wasn't heard by the European Court of Justice, again, proves my innocence and that I didn't fraud anybody. I'm not a liar, I am an European Commissioner which won 2 elections by a majority and wants to do the best for Europe. My tasks are being neutral and coming out with proposals for our continent, which reach out as much countries as possible. If I wasn't neutral, I could have started describing the problems about your election, which I consider legitimate, and end up on the many problems your country have had in the European Union, attacking yourself and every Reitzmic who has tried to enter the European Politics. And I won't do that because I am not a biased, a liar or a person who frauds, but a humble Commissioner who always says the truth.
Please, watch out your words towards me because this Council shall be the house of respect, of the European Values. And disrespecting the Commissioners or Councillors is not one of our European Values. Thank you.
Jean-Claude Juncker
Commissioner for Internal Affairs -
Isn't this crazy? Isn't it ridiculous?
Here we've got Juncker, and we've got Winston, speaking through Van Halen, arguing again - they've done it before, they'll do it again - about who invented this idea. And it's such a bad idea.
Folks, they want you to think this is just another crazy spending project for the globalists in the big corporations, but actually, it's even worse. OK? It's even worse. Why are they building this rail network from North Diessen, which borders Dromund Kaas, all the way into the middle of Europe? It's so they can get migrants and so-called 'refugees' - really nasty people - and get them on the train at North Diessen, and take them all the way into Inquista, into Spain, into United Duchies. And if you complain, they'll say 'no, it's Eurorail, you can't stop it'.
They want to turn all your countries, all of those lovely countries - and I really love all these countries, I do, probably in many cases more than their Councillors - into New Dromund Kaas. That's what they want, OK? I am so glad that Pravoslaviya is not part of this. So happy, you wouldn't believe.
Cllr Dragan Trympov
-
Cllr. Trympov, first of all welcome to the European Council and congratulations for being the new Pravoslaviyan Councillor.
But, I have to say I'm really concerned about the signs of discrimination I have been able to see on your speech. What's the problem with migrants? I don't see many nations except yours and maybe any other that doesn't come to my mind right now havin problem with them because of past reasons I won't mention right now, but yeah, in this Union we say No to discrimination. The European Union, nor the Commission or myself, will force a member state to follow certain immigration policies to join the Eurorail project, and we will respect the choices of every member state. And no, immigrants don't turn nations into the New Drommund Kaas, but they make the nation's culture richer.
And about the non-entrance to the project, I respect but not share your country's decision. Thank you very much.
Jean-Claude Juncker
Commissioner for Internal Affairs -
So now you are opening this kind of discussion Mr. Juncker.
On your words, you are basically telling that you are divine and heavenly and people praise you. Don't worry but soon maybe you'll replace the pope. laughs
We have respect for each other here in the council as always Mr. Juncker. But look, you're telling that you did not commit fraud only because you won a majority of votes twice? You must be insane Mr. Juncker because your explanation is very Junk. You're telling me you're humble right after you boasted your majority win in the EU Elections? Mr. Juncker stop copying ideas on projects now. We're enough of it. At first you made the idea to make a new railway line and you also called it Eurostar. Then this time, you copied Atty. Winston again and took his idea of just connecting all the existing railway systems of all member-states? You did not mention that in your campaign Mr. Juncker, but Mr. Winston did. So tell me, isn't that fraudulent?
I assume you are very well-educated and you have studied in prominent schools but why can't your explanations impress me. You have made very illogical explanations that are far from what we are discussing. So please stop pretending that you are a very righteous man even if you were not.

Councillor van Allen, you appear to be drunk. Perhaps you should go home.
In all seriousness, this is nonsense. Atty. Winston did not publicly propose any of this! There has been no stealing, there has been no fraud! As I said before, a five year old child could think of this! Ridiculous! Ridiculous! Ridiculous!
And finally - finally! - absolutely no one - no one! - has claimed that the Commissioner is divine! No one! No one! He has, in fact, said that you believe this about yourself! Listen! LISTEN! LISTEN FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE!
Eugen Freund
Councillor for the Federal Republic of Austria -
Oh really Mr. Freund. Why don't you go back watch Mr. Winston's interview on CBC News and see if he didn't publicly propose this. You can also watch his 6th Rally Speech from Pravoslaviya in which he also mentioned such so I think you must've been updated or maybe you are the real drunk.

I stand corrected, and deeply apologize for the scene I have created - something that I certainly must learn from. However, I continue to stand by my belief that quite literally anyone, from the oldest person on Earth to perhaps even infants, could have developed this idea in an instant.
