Firoux dramatically swung the Council doors open and entered the chamber.
I’m back, back, back again!
Security, please remove this woman from the Council floor immediately and drag her to the public gallery where she belongs. According to Section 1, Article 3 of the Condemnation of Icholasen, only the United Dominions of Icholasen shall be recognized in the European Council for the purposes of representation.
Now, with that said. I actually like this bill, so I will keep it on the floor and I will sponsor it myself.
Debate on this begins NOW and will last until 07:20 GMT on April 5th, 2020.
This is an interesting proposal. I do want to point out, though, that the European Liberals only had one member left, which is why I dissolved it. They didn't even have two.
When we originally passed the European Council Political Groups Act , it made sense to have a three person minimum requirement to form a eurogroup. The Council was larger and more active then. The current amount of active councillors has since decreased. We also only have one eurogroup left, which is the EPA. I allowed the European Liberals to exist with only two members for months, until Councillor Cruthin resigned. At this rate, we won't be having a new eurogroup for the foreseeable future.
Besides, even just two councillors working together can be quite effective and helpful. That is precisely why I hesitated to dissolve the European Liberals until there was only one member left. Reducing the minimum requirement to two might breed some new eurorgroups, as well as breathe some new life into the Council as a whole. Even as a party chairman myself, I welcome more diverse opinions.
This has my support.
