I'm absolutely in favor of the proposed neutrality motion. It's a true testament to the commitment of the Councillor in fulfilling their election promise. This motion would help create an environment of fairness and impartiality, fostering unity within the community.

Since the Kingdom of Spain voted for the first time in a neutrality motion proposal, we have nearly always supported States willing to achieve this condition awarded by the Constitution of the European Union. In addition, the Spanish Government, in the summit that took place in Madrid on the 22nd June 2022, gave its word to the Elthic Government that it would support this motion if introduced to the Council, something that has taken place today.

As the facts given are true, and I as the Spanish Councillor owe to the compromises taken by the Spanish Government, which I represent in this Chamber, I announce my full support to the motion.

I fully support this motion. I believe Elthize has shown its neutrality well over the years and if they wish to have neutral status we must support that decision.

The government of Sertia fully support this bid for neutrality, having had no advice within or without our government to the contrary.

While we have no issue with Elthize being a neutral country. We believe that it is the choice of the Elthize government to make their own foreign policy and it is not the place for the council to decide a nations diplomatic stance for them. Circumstances can change when nations relations can change and its up to the individual nation to make the choice of what their foreign policy interests are. Not the council's.

My resignation, unfortunately, illegal, I have returned to the Council to do my duty to my nation.

The Republic of Istkalen fully supports this motion. However, I, personally, would like to clarify to some members of the Council that EU-granted neutrality status has little to do with foreign policy. It is a specific protection, outlined in the EU Constitution, given to states which have conducted themselves in a neutral manner that ensures their security against invasion.

As the Speaker of the Council, I feel obliged to remind certain members of this chamber that, as Councillor and Former Speaker Tilkannas, who I am pleased to welcome back to her house; said, this has little or nothing to do with foreign policy. This neutrality condition is provided by the European Consitution and offers certain guarantees for countries subject to it in case they are invaded.
