Hudeček looked at his colleagues who both nodded and proclaimed: "Our delegations agrees with what comrade Jakob Müller has proposed. Four votes are for his proposition, zero are against it, no delegation abstained, The motion was accepted, when we get to Other Topics you will be invited to speak first comrade Jakob."
"Now I would like to invite our comrades from UNSR to make us familiar with the election strategy of CPI and if they could share their ideas on the election strategy of CPI."

Françoise got up to speak. "Our national policy is to push for our candidates in the local elections and the national elections in Icholasen coming up this April via old and new medias. Both online and paper and billboard advertising will be poured in for our Communist candidates. In addition, CPI is prepared to help smaller leftist parties in Europe with money and contacts for advertising agencies that we have grown to trust so far. I also think out strategy should be a European one, we are trying to get recognised in the European Council, but I am unsure as to how it will pan out. If not, we should caucus around someone for Premier and Internal Affairs Commissioner so that we can have the best chance of having a leftist represent us in the European Commission."

"Understood, perhaps comrades here would like to hear more about your political system to better understand it and to help them make any advice. Nevertheless it is time for other delegations to propose their advice to the UNSR delegation on how to help CPI achieve victory and convince the imperialist bloc in the EU to finally recognize the UNSR" Hudeček proclaimed.

After a break Hudeček rose up again and spoke: "Our delegation has crafted our proposal for Nicoleizian elections. Comrade Šumavský will read our proposition." Hudeček sat down while Šumavský standed up and begun reading: "The CPI is advised to carry out an anonymous election poll among the populace. If the results of the poll are favourable for the CPI we advise for the results to be published, if the results are however not favourable for the CPI we advise for not publishing the results and declaring a moratorium on election polls 14 days before elections. CPI should also conduct series of regional polls showing them what policies the populace in the regions supports. Considering the decentralised nature of the UNSR we advise for the party to set up candidates with different policies in different voting districts with accordance to what the local populace wants, loyalty of the candidates to the party leadership should however be a priority. CPI is also advised to reach out to well known public figures and attempt to make silent agreements with them to endorse the party candidates. If the situation according to the polls looks grim for the CPI we advice the for a set of principles that would declare loyalty to revolutionary ideals and the new democratic regime to be made, as the new regime needs to consolidate after revolution, the document containing the principles would be mandatory to sign by all potential candidates, electoral committees should then try to research the potential candidates and forbid the majority of those who do not seem loyal to revolutionary ideals. Finally if the situation appears to be so dire for the CPI, that victory seems unobtainable a single candidates list composed by the party should be presented to the voters with the option to vote for this list, or against it. In such a case secret ballot is not recommended. In any case it is advised for the UNSR to invite foreign election observers."
As Šumavský finished reading, Rottová also stood up and said: "We would like to ask the delegation from the UNSR to consider our proposals. Thank you." and with that being said Hudeček invited the delegations from Fremet and the Ottoman Empire to present their proposals.

"Now comrades, it looks like there are no more advises, and as the elections in Icholasen had already begun, I am sorry t end this point of discussion." prof. Hudeček sadi, then excused himself and walked away for a moment with a mobile phone in his hand.
He returned after 15 minutes and started talking to his colleagues. after a few minutes were passed prof. Rottová nodded at him, stood up and began her speech. "Comrades, it has been brought to my attention, that there are voices in Icholasen that are undermining socialist solidarity, these voices however do not come from the people of Icholasen, their origin is in the orthodox church in Inquista. Comrade Lallana recently had a speech in Icholasen, in which she showed the whole world that she is nothing but a pseudointellectual. She talked about recent trip of Nicoleizian foreign minister comrade Sanders to Czech Slavia, to officialy visit the official of this country. And comrade Lallana is surprised by this, she is surprised that a foreign minister visits another country officials. Comrade Lallana instead sees a conspiracy, she sees comrade Sanders, and other comrades close to him, as puppets of foreign country. She claims that foreigners is trying to influence elections in Icholasen, yet the only foreigner to involve themselves with the elections in UNSR is comrade Lallana herself. And she uses that to criticize the friendly relations of UNSR and Czech Slavia and to undermine the principles of socialist solidarity, that are so dear to those two countires and their citizens. It is a shame that representatives from Inquista are not here, I am certain we would love to hear from them on this. Because they are not here, and cannot defend the pseudointellectual comrade Lallana I won't continue with critiquing her recent steps any further. But I must ask you, comrades delegates, to issue a statement condemning her involvement in the Nicoleizian elections and condemning a policy of undermining socialist solidarity, thank you."

Prof. Hudeček stood up unce again, after yet another phone call, his voice clearly shaking. "Comrades... I have received a strong criticism from the Communist Party of Czech Slavia for our work. I of course fully agree with the criticism. It was proposed to me, that we should end all activities of our organization and draw a plan for the next year, when we will start working properly. I also announce to you that my colleague Šumavský, who was here on behalf of the Czech Socialist Party, which ceased to exist, joined the Communist Party of Czech Slavia." Hudeček made a long pause.
"But before we vote on these things I.... we... I recieved a message that comrade Kohout personally is coming to our meeting right now. And comrade Corbychov is also invited to join us or send a representative here immediately. It is... highly recomended to accept this invitation." Hudeček made yet another long pause. He was clearly thinking about something. "Comrade Müller, I beg you to invite comrade Corbychov here right now.... please..."

Corbychov had had a rough year. He had lost horrifically to Fremet's major parties, his political allies were now running to the Socialists, he was battling forces within his party pushing him to join with Erna's government, and, to top it all off, he was now flying basic economy on an Air Fremet flight to Czech Slavia to get a good dressing down by some fellow leftists.

"Pay to choose where I fucking sit? F-Corp— more like FU-Corp."

He gathered himself as he boarded the plane, fortunately for him he was able to secure a window seat (on row 36) with his frequent flyer miles.

He arrived in Prague (not too much worse for wear) and rushed to see Professor Hudeček. He always enjoyed being in Czech Slavia, the beautiful buildings, clean streets, and well-fed populace served as a staunch contrast to the crumbling socialist state in Icholasen. Such sights always reaffirmed his faith in his ideals.

He was soon whisked away by some rather burly security officers and placed before Prof. Hudeček.

He looked into his eyes, and spoke, "I know why I am here. I have failed comrade. I fear that my party may not last into the next election cycle. There is much talk of merging with the Socialist Party. Fremetian politics is moving left, but we seem to have been left out."

Corbychov looked more weary than ever. He had been fighting for decades for a real march to the left in Fremet, and now that it had finally begun, he was left almost completely out of it.

"Welcome comrade Corbychov, we are most pleased to see you here, please take a seat!" Hudeček said while he and his colleague stood up. While his voice was was calm and friendly, his eyes openly expressed stress he was feeling. "We have the... immense privilege to welcome comrade Kohout today too, so please just get comfortable and wait for his arrival." All members of the Czech delegation sat down.

I a few hours doors have open and Kohout has entered the room. He was welcomed in a similar fashion as Corbychov and then sat alongside members of Czech delegation to be briefed about the meeting so far.

After a short while Kohout stood up and began to speak: "Comrades, friends, I am happy to be here with you. I think it is obvious that we must admit our mistakes to ourselves, and we all failed in assisting the Rødt Party in the general elections. I have failed in not learning enough about the situation in the country, before commenting on it. That is why I am glad that we have comrade Corbychov among us.

Now then comrade Corbychov, would you please explain the situation in which the Rødt Party is? What are the reasons behind the Rødt Party inability to attract more voters? And what is now your strategy?"

"The Rødt Party struggled largely due to the Socialists taking what little support on the left we had from us. Before Erna Solberg won the leadership of the Socialist Party, we were polling at 23%— our highest level since the 2000 election. After her victory and subsequent pledge to end the "Golden Coalition" and take the party in a new direction, our polling numbers dropped to their 2016 election levels. I have taken most of the blame in this, as, quite frankly, I should have foreseen Erna's victory. She is a true champion of the people. The Rødt are currently picking up the pieces, as you will. We are hoping that, with our renewed party platform, we can recover some seats in the Provincial Commission elections in 2022. Regardless, we will be living with a Solberg government for at least the next four years, and, as such, we at the Rødt have embarked on a new mission positioning ourselves to the left of the Socialist Party.

While our first thought is to draw more voters as Fremetian politics continues to move left and as Solberg's government is pulled to the centre by neoliberal forces involved in leading the country, my recommendation, as it stands now, is for the Institute of the European Left to meet with Dr Solberg, in secret, to ascertain her party's openness to cooperation with leftists abroad. We all underestimated Erna. She is, as we speak, in the process of collectivising Fremet's public utility companies. Tell me, is this not the leftist ideal we all share? Yes, my party will continue to push the envelope to the left in Fremet, but we must accept the possibility that the Socialist Party of Fremet has finally escaped from the clutches of the centre and centre-left and is rapidly becoming one of the powerful leftist parties in Europe.

We mustn't risk again alienating a party that shares our ideals. I am certain that the Socialists will not become full members of the IEL. They cannot risk the appearance of overt external influence on Fremetian politics, but we may be able to persuade them to join as an observer party. At the very least, it would get our foot in the door, and finally establish a healthy relationship between the voters of Fremet and the wider left of Europe."

"Comrade Corbychov, describing the reasons you had no control over that led to your failure is easy, but I want you to tell us what you think your party has done incorrectly or could have done better. I am sure you will agree with me, that there is always room for improvement and that analyzation of our failures is of upmost importance. And the localization of those responsible for failures is crucial. So please, could you give us insight on these things?

To answer to your recommendation, I have nothing against meeting with Dr. Solberg and if you could invite her I am sure we would all appreciate it. But tell me, how would you convince our comrades from Icholasen about the need of cooperation when the government of Erna Solberg is actively working on increasing the tension in the region? In fact you have the chance to convince their delegation right now. Also, please note that the party is the strongest tool you have at your disposal, merging it with another, much stronger yet less radical party could lead to catastrophic results. Even if the idea of cooperation would be correct I urge you to prefer coalition or a support for the party, rather then full merging of them. Of course sending part of your people to infiltrate the Socialist Party, or find allies in there and push for our agenda is a different thing."
