Amendment to the Nuclear Proliferation Act 2009
-
In recognition of changing European Union members, and the need to have an up to date and efficient organization, the following shall be changed in the Nuclear Proliferation Act of 2009.
SECTION II. THE MAKEUP OF THE ENAA
-
The ENAA shall consist of five members, four of which will be permanent members and one
three of which will be permanent members and twoof which will be selected by the European Council every 12 months. This single elected member must be a non-nuclear state and will vacate their seat if they obtain nuclear weapons. -
The four permanent members of the ENAA are as follows:
a. The Aelir of the Kendro-Laatzenian Dominions of the Duxburian Union
b. The Prime Minister of the Apostolic Kingdom of Angleter
c. The Archbishop of the Most Blessed State of InquistaThe Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain
d. The Korojaunu of the United DominionsRoyal Premier of the United Kingdomof Icholasen -
The nations that will have representation on the ENAA should assign their most powerful political figure to the role.
-
To ratify a vote within the ENAA, a majority of 51% or greater of the present voting members is required. For there to be a valid vote, a minimum quorum of three members must be obtained.
I know already some members may have some questions as to why the composition was changed the way it was. The United Kingdom of Great Britain is no longer a European Union member, so it makes little sense to retain them as a permanent member.
Icholasen did not leave the union, but simply updated its highest political office necessitating a change.
The biggest change which I believe is needed is that Inquista be added as a permanent member. Inquista has been an elected member on the ENAA for multiple different terms, they know the standards that potential nuclear states must be adhere too for the protection of their new assets and the region. It will also serve to solidify the ENAA with a permanent voice of non-nuclear states.
The change to require that non-elected members remain non-nuclear states will also serve to solidify the ENAA with multiple voices of those without nuclear weapons and what nations with similar ideologies might feel.
Mr. Speaker I request you assign debate, and voting times.

I second this motion and I like the premise of this amendment. This would perhaps control the continual production of nuclear weapons which I do believe is a dangerous weapon that could cause extinction of humanity.
-
I stand in support of the motion as well, with this act the production of nuclear weapons can be controlled through a tight and efficient manner.
