      EU Constitution: Amendment Montenbourg Neutrality

      Proposed by Cllr. Emma Granger (Montenbourg)


      The Kingdom of Montenbourg having,

      • Not committed hostile acts against other nation-states since 2018.
      • Been bound as a non-belligerent in foreign affairs, except in the Realm's own defense for its sovereignty as per the Act of Basic Law of 2015 (and before, the Edict of 1775)
      • Been admitted to the European Union as a Member-State, entitled to certain rights outlined in the Constitution of the European Union
      • Evokes Article VI Section II of the Constitution of the European Union to call upon the European Council to vote on the revoke of Neutrality Status of the Kingdom of Montenbourg.

          Well, I guess there's not much to say about it. I congratulate Montenbourg for their behaviour during these years, and I hope they behave as they have been behaving during the last years from now on if their neutrality is removed.

            If the government of the Kingdom of Montenbourg wishes for its neutrality status to be removed, the Empire of Inimicus will not stand in their way. We will therefore vote FOR this revocation.

                        Voting has now CLOSED. The revocation of the Montenbourg Neutrality Motion has PASSED, achieving the required supermajority (75%) with 6 votes for, 0 votes against, and 1 abstention.

                        The Council of the European Union hereby REVOKES the Neutrality Status of the Kingdom of Montenbourg.
