#BREAKING: Michael Jenkins has resigned from his position as Labour leader. In the announcement, Jenkins stated that his decision came after his third child was born. "I have realized that, to use a colloquial expression, I have too much on my plate. I am overwhelmed and cannot function as a father due to my high position in politics, and because of this, I have to leave."
Jenkins will remain a member of Labour and says that he will not leave politics: "This is just a step back." A leadership election in Labour is expected to be held in the coming months, with Jenkins serving as a caretaker leader until then.
Just learned about the news in Labour. Jenkins was a great personality. Good in debate, too. Whoever takes his place will have big shoes to fill. Anyway, I have raised three kids... All adults now. If he needs help, he can always give a call.
