Voting has concluded.
In total, there were 15 votes. Turnout was down by 11 since the last Commission election. The results are thus:
In the third round of the Premier Commission election, Sofie Čikarová was eliminated as Dragan Trympov garnered more first preference votes,
Therefore Angela MERKEL is duly elected Premier Commissioner and Jean Claude JUNCKER is duly elected as Internal Affairs Commissioner, and commiserations to the other candidates.
The new Commission term will begin upon the election of the new ECoJ on September 19th, and will run until January 19th, 2021.
