Istkalen needs true help, not the tricking hand of the would-be colonizer. As such, on behalf of the people of Istkalen, their will expressed through the Republic of Istkalen, I vote FOR this motion.
Iras Tilkanas
Councillor for the Republic of Istkalen -
The Realm of Great Ruthund votes AGAINST this motion. Ruthund favors the European Union taking an observer role in the establishment of a transition government, but will not support any attempt to remove J-TAI under the guidance Reitzmag and Vayinaod until a legal government of Istkalen is established.
Tony Odhinazen
EU Councilor, Ruthund -
With 6 votes FOR, 4 votes AGAINST, and no Abstentions, the Motion of ERF Deployment in Itskalen has PASSED.
Charles Michel
Council Speaker and Councilor for Fremet -
My fellow councilors, this motion is entirely against a provision of the ERF Act under Section 2 Paragraph 1 that states "The European Relief Force can be deployed into nations post disaster or post conflict at the request of the member nations where operations would be held. The European Relief Force can also deployed during a truce, on condition all parties involved agree." However, as Istkalen is considered a protectorate of Reitzmag and Vayinaod, they shall be the ones to request such operation to be held and not Montenbourg. Therefore, I think that this motion shall be void.
Yuridiana Yahontov
Interim Deputy Councilor, Kingdom of Reitmag -
Councilor Yahontov, voting has closed. You should have made these objections known during the debate period.
We cannot simply declare a motion "void" after the vote has been completed. I recommend you file a repeal motion immediately, petition the ECOJ, or both.
This session is closed.
Charles Michel
Council Speaker and Councilor for Fremet
