President Mouri-Kudo’s eyes lit up with interest as she listened to Kamala’s explanation. “That’s fascinating, Prime Minister. The Office of the Internal Affairs Commissioner Kevin Cotilla will be planning to host an international conference with all the member-state governments in the European Union in order to discuss any preveant issues that they wish to be addressed. The Conference will be taking place in late August or early September after having additional discussions with the other members of the Commission for better cooperation.

Kevin decided to make a stop at Leagio's neighbor of Elithize in its city of Forecoaster, where he was told would next best place to stop at for his campaign through the European Union. The people were nice and curious about this Senator from their neighboring country running for the position of Internal Affairs Commissioner of the EU Commission. He stood up on the podium as he gave his speech to the neighbors of Leagio. The reason for him choosing the city was that it was known for having a moderate position on the political spectrum, which is where Kevin falls into not only within his own country's political spectrum but also within the spectrum of the Progressive Alliance Party.

"People of Forecoaster and the people of the State of Elthize, let me say that I thank you for allowing me to visit your great nation and witness the many sites that you offer as a neighbor to my country. For many years our trees have had a positive and fruitful relationship and where we enjoy the benefits together in being part of the European Union. On two countries work together and ensure that only the liberties of our peoples are protected but the livelihoods that our people live is maintain under the governments of both our administrations. Both of our presidents met each other with a common goal to establish good relations with good economy with each other as neighbors."

The crowd clapped in agreement with Kevin as he continued to speak.

"Not long ago your nation joined mine into the European Union on the idea of ensuring quality, prosperity and liberty. I can gracefully say that with the current benefits you have achieved that. You rose your heads up high and reach for the stars in aspirations of becoming a member of the union, but you still have been asking more from the current leadership in the European Union's commission who has failed to work with your government that you have elected and failed to come up with methods as well as solutions that benefit you, the people of Elthize. The European Union's commission has not been working day and night for you and proposing legislation and solutions that align with your aspirations 100% of the time and for the example of the current internal affairs Commissioner, never once has she worked to provide legislation that ensures that the commission is stable, functional, and is able to actually function within a democratic society that we live in as people of this 21st century. We need new leadership within the European Union commission and I am willing to provide that leadership to you as a candidate for the internal affairs commissioner with coordination and support from Premier Commissioner candidate Juncker. The European Union commission needs to show responsibility to you the voters of this union and they definitely need to invite you to stability that fits your aspirations as a nation of this community. Democracy can only work when there is stability because instability and the inability to cooperate with governing will lead to nothing but tyranny."

Kevin looked around and select many of the crowd shook their heads up and down in agreement with his words and even cheered loudly with various words that supported the ideas of liberty, stability, and democracy.

"To bring the situation closer to home, never once has current internal affairs Commissioner offered to help you the members of this European Union in your situation with the unbearable heat and AC crisis that is plaguing your homes. Never once has she directly been in touch with your government to at least be informed about the situation and asked if any help could be needed from the European Union's commission. A truly elected internal affairs Commissioner is supposed to be concerned with the affairs going on within the member nations of this community but not in the way to dictate what they can do; instead, the internal affairs Commissioner is supposed to act as a mere between all member nations and as a provider of any assistance and its member nations needs from the European Union's commission. If I am elected as the internal affairs Commissioner of the European Union, I will work day and night with your government, if they wish, and helping any way possible to resolve the AC crisis that your nation is currently facing and any other issues that you need help from this community."

The crowd went ecstatic as they began to cheer even louder than before and began to chant Kevin's name. Shouts of of liberty, stability, and democracy continued throughout the remainder of the event as Kevin Cotilla went down to the audience to talk to as many potential voters that want to tell him their stories and their issues revolving around the European Union, especially on what they think should be done to help their nation in this crisis.

"Oh, I could've bought it my- Alright, whatever. Thanks a lot for the gift." Grimwald was not expecting the gesture at all, though, by this point, he was too tired to counter. Still, he was pleased.

"Now, if you excuse me, I'll call Tobias. He's waiting outside." Grimwald then pulled out his old yet handy phone to call him.

"Yes, we're done here. I'll be outside in a moment... We can do that, yes. We'll talk about that in detail. Alright." Grimwald then hung up the phone and got up to shake his colleague's hand.

"Mrs. Mouri-Kudo, thank you for taking your time for this meeting. This will greatly improve the already impressive relations between Leagio and Elthize. In this new era of Elthize where we are a member of the European Union, we are glad to ensure that our relationship with our allies are strong as ever. Alas, thank you, once again."

“Madam President, good to see you at this hour.” Moriarty said with a cunning smile.

Mouri-Kudo rolled her eyes, she knew how much of fox that Moriarty is. Moriarty was so good in the art of manipulation in Leagioan politics that she knew that it was how he managed to unite the Left on the issue of Socialism for all.

“Good to see you too, Moriarty. And you as well, Councilor Philpe.” Mouri-Kudo said as her husband began to lead her and the others to a table to begin the discussion of today.

“As we all know now, the situation over the straights is critical and it has began to take a toll on my Cabinet and the coalition with the Civil Populists, who have refused to pass anything until I ask Congress for a Act of Sanction on Spain and cut off all foreign ties to Spain. I am fearful that soon that they might be plot to see if they can get Impeachment going over this. The Constitution Convention on revising the Constitution is almost done and will from what I hear will soon to be sent to the National Congress; so we need the votes for this to go through and need to think on after it passes ratification.” Mouri-Kudo explained to the gentlemen in the room.

“I see and what are you offering to the United People’s Front for those votes?” Moriarty asked in knowing way.

“In the revised constitution, I will have the power to suggest a Prime Minister and that Prime Minister will form a government. I will provide a candidate of the Progressives that is the most left and the Socialist Unionists along with the Green party will be placed into the Government with cabinet positions until the coming elections this December.” Mouri-Kudo offered.

“I find that offer very fair and appealing but one condition, I get to choose the Cabinet positions for the two parties.” Moriarty said as his red eyes sparkled at the offer. Getting the cabinet positions was important to Moriarty as he knew that it would allow the United Peoples Front to rise in popularity and in the polls for the coming election this December. Something that would make his platform of Leagioan Socialism more appealing to the common Leagioan voter.

“And what do you wish to speak to me about in here then Mouri-Kudo? With Moriarty, you have the votes needed at that point.” Philpe asked.

“Well, Councilor, the Progressives will planning to hold a convention inviting various political parties to challenge the threat of a possible Civil Populist and Conservative Reform Party. I was wanting to offer your party the opportunity to join the Progressives in a electoral alliance for this election season?” Mouri-Kudo explained.

Philpe thought on it for a moment. Such a alliance would be beneficial for the Social Democrat Party as they still were trying to recover from the fallout of 2020 and the Civil Populists have not really provided as much as they promised back in the 2020 National Congress election. This alliance would help rebuild the Social Democrats back into national relevance.

“I have no problem with that proposal at all.” Philpe announced.

“I do have a proposition as well.” Moriarty requested.

Mouri-Kudo nodded for accepting to hear his input.

“If the United Peoples Front wins a majority or plurality of the seats in the House of Councilors then the Prime Minister must be someone who is of the Alliance.” Moriarty said.

Mouri-Kudo nodded as she knew that she did not hold much leverage in that if such a situation would happen. She could dissolve the House if it happened but it would not end well for the Progressives at all.

“Very well. Now, when election season rolls, I would like to propose that none of our parties attack each other with attack ads and focus on the Conservatives as well as the Civil Populists.” Shinichi suggested.

Moriarty nodded in agreement with a grin, while Philpe nodded plainly.

“Good, then let us keep this conservation silent for now as leaders of our respective parties.” Shincihi suggested as everyone nodded and walked out except the President of the Commonwealth, who reminded her husband that their anniversary was coming up.

The businessman then smiled in agreement "Fair enough Madame President. Before we conclude and sign an agreement so that I have a good things to report back to Tokyo is there further questions you have for me President Mouri-Kudo?"

The European Court of Justice after much deliberation has moved forward with an opinion on the case of ICS Church v. Alkharya. The ICS Church is correct the Constitution states that Europeans have the right of Freedom of religion and freedom to manifest his or her belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance provided that they do not violate the rights of others. Europeans hold the right that is inalienable to them to worship freely and safely as they feel. However, the right is held to the individual European as a person not an organization. NGO are bodies that are not well clarified as having rights to practice the freedom of worship and the court feels that this issue in particular is something that should be decided by the EU Council to provide answers to in their own procedures given to them through the separation of powers provided in the Constitution.

The Government of Alkharya fulfilled the insurance of not hindering the right of the individual European to worship practice religion, whatever it maybe as long as it does not violate the rights of others. Although, the decision in the law being review from the Government of Alkharya is unusual to say the least. The European Court of Justice finds no complication in it that results in it violating the principle of the individual European. The Constitution does not provide strong religious protection to NGO where it is not considered as a person under the Constitution. In addition, the EU Constitution gives the member-states of the EU the inherent powers to pass legislation that will ensure that no only is the right of religion in the individual protected but that the individual does not use it to be oppressive to others. Whether the question of if the law is constitutional within Alkharya itself is a question that will be reverted back to the supreme Judicial branch of the Republic of Alkharya. Mr. Kayihan was correct in stating that the law that was question in this is legal as it provides equal treatment to all religious institutions. Nations hold the right to pass and enforce laws to protect but also provide religious rights as mentioned earlier, but they have the right to ensure that religion does not abuse the rights that it holds by oppresives others that disagree with their point of view.

And so, through a majority vote, the European Court of Justice rules the case IN FAVOR of the Government of Alkharya.

And so the court is hereby adjorned with the case finished.

“Madam President, Welcome.” One of the Head Scientists of the research center said as President Mouri-Kudo entered the center through the secret entrance.

“Thank you. Is Dr slash Minister Akagi here today?” Mouri-Kudo asked curiously.

“Yes, Madam President. She is in her office at the moment. She is just reviewing new data for the LF-1A Gen 5 plan.” The scientist explained pointing the way to Minister of Science and Research Ritsuko Akagi’s office in the research center, which is far from the capital of the Commonwealth and away from the official public office of the Ministry of Science and Research.

“I guess then I will disturb her then.” Mouri-Kudo said as she began to walk towards said Doctor’s office.

Office is a understatement of the work area of the Minister of Science and Research as it was more or less a large laboratory and test area of all the Commonwealth’s new weapons, gadgets, and devices that were either tested, discarded, or being developed. As the President of the Commonwealth entered, she heard the sounds of various things within the room being made. The sounds ranged from the works of welding to even malfunction of a gun. The Secret Service agents beside her suggested that she wait until the Minister is done with her work for the sake of her very own safety from the things being tested. However, Mouri-Kudo waved it off. She had been through much throughout her life, especially as president when one considers how her inauguration went.

“Madam President, I am surprised to see you’re here.” Minister of Science and Research Ritsuko Akagi said after examining a new type of Rocket Launcher for the Army.

“Minister Akagi. Good to see you here. I was just checking to hear about the progress on the latest projects.” Mouri-Kudo said as she and Akagi sat by a workbench in the area.

“So far, work on the Defender Class has been going smoothly and we should expect to see the first line of the class being produced in March once we finish running additional tests and after the naval exercises that you plan to have with the Spanish Navy. The Submarine will have a much more longer range than the old Revolution Class and can handle much more deeper depths than said predecessor. It has a AIP that manage to squeezing into the Engine Room Compartment. So the use of fuel will not be a serious concern for the Navy in the use of this submarine, especially with the Fuel Cell system. However, we did not achieve our goal of 720 miles underwater at 5 Knots, but 705 miles at said speed.” Akagi explained.

“Well, it is still an improvement. Maybe once we start have more of the Defenders out then we will can be able to have their range extended.” Mori-Kudo said.

“Of course, Madam President.” Akagi said looking over a sheet of data, “Progress on stealth technology is still a way to go for the armed forces. We had some success in developing a prototype that somewhat works but needs more tweaking to be done before we say that we are on the right path. It should take us another year at most for progress to be completely finished. Problem is that we are developing our own from scratch, if say we had one that was imported and we can based our own technology on, then the process will be much smoother. However, with time, we should be at the point of building our stealth tech for planes especially.”

“I see. I cannot promise that you will be able to get a imported variant but I will see if I can try with some of the European Nations nearby.” Morui-Kudo explained.

Akagi nodded understandingly.

“Will you still be meeting with Dietmember Moriarty on negotiating the funding of a Leagioan Merchant Marine Fleet?” Akagi asked curiously.

“Yes, even though the Economy is doing much better than at the start of my term, unemployment still needs to be resolved. Constructing a merchant marine fleet that sails through Europe might be the way to go for that and it would help to improve trade in-general for Leagio.The country is having a leftward shift and in order to get anything done of my program then I will need to compromise on a few of my positions.” Mouri-Kudo said dreadfully.

Reagan stepped up as the crowd clapped and cheered. He smiled and waved as he stepped up to the podium to speak.

"Good evening, Kazmurbirha and the people of Ruthund. I hope that you are doing well. I hope that no one minds that this rally that topic of this rally will be different than the previously. In the previous rallies, I talked about what I would bring for the EU. Now I will mainly talk about why I am qualified. I got a joke that told to me from a fellow former Senator, a Conservative Reformist candidate for Councilor was running for election in a rural district and was never really known to be Conservative at all but Social Democrat who do well in rural areas previously. So when he tells a young potential voter who he is and that he is a Conservative, the voter is in shock and says 'let me go get mama, she has never seen a Conservative before.' So the voter gets his mother and a crowd forms up as they had never seen a Conservative before as well, the candidate had to find a platform to give his speech. So eventually he found a pile of that stuff that for 30 years that Bess Truman tried to get Former Senator Harry Truman to call fertilizer."

The crowd, especially those that are farmers, went absolutely wild as they laughed.

"So he got up on the pile and gave his speech, where at the end of it the voter said 'that is the first time that I have heard Conservative speech." And the Candidate said 'that is the first that I have given a Conservative Speech from Social Democratic platform.'"

The crowd went wild again as they got the joke. Eventually, they settled down.

"Now, as I mentioned I have already talked a lot of what I would bring but I want talk about my qualifications. When I was elected Senator, I took a heavy interest to foreign affairs as I was assigned to be Chairman of the Senate Foreign Affairs Commitee in Leagio, where I had the wonderful opporunity to meet with the world leaders of the time. I was to understand the interest of those foriegn leaders in sort of a capitcity that falls similar to an ambassdor. In addition, I served as a delegate for the National Congress to many of the negotiations with many foreign leaders that wanted to trade with the Commonwealth, especially traties that were meant to stablize relations as well."

"Then I served as Minister of Foreign Affairs for a year when the Commonwealth lost a President to cancer and the Governor-General at the time had to serve the remainder of that President's term for a year. But during that term, I took on a more stronger role of foreign affairs in serving the interests of the Commonwealth. Now, I look to serving the interests of the European Union and particularly the interests of its member-states. We needy unity and leadership that looks out to the future of the European Union, especially for our foreign affairs. I will too expand our foreign relations with other regions to serve the interests of the entire European Union."

"We need a more transparent office of foreign affairs that will build those relationships that the nations of the European Union want to build to where our children can live peacefully within a prosper as well as free world. Thank you."

After that Reagan walked down to shack hands with the members of the crowd.
