The crowd cheers as Cher Horoditz takes to the stage to begin the results show for the 1996 edition of the Eurovoice Song Contest. Cher is seen wearing a plaid yellow outfit, which would later become one of the most iconic and most talked about outfits in Inquista during the 90's. Cher waves enthusiastically to the crowd, before then beginning to speak.
"Good evening, Europe! It's great to have you all here in Saint Dominico, Inquista, where we have come together to celebrate music, and to celebrate music's ability to bring us all together."
The crowd claps and cheers.
"So... do you guys want the 411? Let's waste no time and dish it. BUT FIRST! Do you guys know what's totally not cool? Not voting! For whatever reason, the dial-up in Montenbourg and Mennrimiak is not very good, and we have not received their televotes. Unfortunately, these countries have been disqualified from the competition. Totally lame!"
The crowd boos and jeers.
"Oh snap! You guys are totally buggin'. Take a chill pill! Don't worry, the show will go on, and we already have our first result waiting, so let's bounce! OK, so the results will be coming in alphabetical order, so I hope you guys all know your ABCs.
"Good evening, Alkharya! Could we have your results please?"
Korhan Abay and Meltem Cumbul appear on screen and delivers the Alkharyan televote scores.
"Congrats to Spain for picking up those 12 points from Alkharya! Well, thank you for those votes, Korhan and Meltem. Hope you both have a great night!
"Now onto Czech Slavia. Good evening, Prague! Wow, Antonín, you look great. You haven't aged a day since the 1985 Eurovoice Song Contest, and I'm sure you'll never look a day older in your whole foreseeable future! Ok, enough about that. May we have the televotes from Czech Slavia, please?"
The crowd cheers as Antonin delivers the Czech votes. After a few moments, Cher quietens the crowd.
"Thanks, Antonin! Can't wait to see you looking great as always again next year! Anyway, Istkalen has now taken the lead with those 12 points. Totally rad! Let's go to Fremet before we get an overview of all the scores so far.
"Good evening, Trondheim! (gasp) Betty! Betty, you are do bomb.com. Thanks for joining us. Give us the stitch on the Fremetian televotes!"
Betty White delivers the Fremetian televote scores while the crowd cheers with great excitement.
"Thanks Betty, you are all that and a bag of chips, I hope you know that. Ok, let's catch you all up with the 411. Here is the leaderboard so far!"

The crowd goes absolutely wild as Dionne Kennedy Davenport walks onto the stage to join Cher.

"Nofoga with the 12 points - schwing! Istkalen with a 10! They're running away with this... totally bunk. Thanks Dionne, you can lay off now."
The crowd cheers as Dionne exits the stage.
"Ok, well, now to the country of the hour... Istkalen! Good evening, Stereotypical Westerner! So glad to have the representation we all so desperately need on this show. So brave of you to join us. Look at all that cash money you have! Where's the bling? Do you have the televote results from Istkalen for us?"
"Wow those are some maaaad results. Thank you! Congratulations to Alkharya with the 12 points! Only 4 for Inquista? Whatever, talk to the hand! Let's go to the leaderboard again and check these sweet results out."

The tension and nerves throughout the audience is palpable, and the audience cheers loudly for Cher to continue on with the show.
