Act for the Condemnation of Capitalism
-
Dear colleagues, I am of course not sure what was the intention of Councillor Arkalis, but I must admit, that I do not see such proposition as serious, for, as Councillor Arkalis surely knows, such proposition hasn't got even the slightest chance at passing through the Council. Still I want to state why I must disagree with such proposition.
We, the people of Czech Slavia, consider all nations to be equal and deserving of the same rights, such as to decide the form of government and economic system of their country for themselves. Such sovereignty must be respected by the European Council, let all member states pick their own path. I must express a pride in my country and its government, for always standing by this right, and when some called for condemnation of the revolution in Icholasen, and some even called for condemnation of the revolution in Inquista, we always said that it is the right of Nicoleizians and Inquistans to set up their own ways.
Moreover, if some system, some way, is better than the other, then the people of country going the worse way must themselves realize this and only they can change the course, it is not the job of the European Council to change their way for them. "Il n'est pas de sauveurs suprêmes
Ni Dieu, ni César, ni Tribun" and certainly not the European Council. This must be known to all socialists, and can be only ignored by ultra-left loudmouths, who try to cover up their ideological emptiness by radical statements.I agree with what Councillor Tusk have said and I hope that from this point forward, he will stand by his own words. Just recently, in order to appease his own ego, Tusk voted against Repeal the European Commission Sanctioning Powers Act proposed by van Allen with which he agreed with. The European Commission Sanctioning Powers Act is nothing but a assault on countries that pick a different path. And Tusk, recognizing this, voted against the repeal, because it was proposed by a Councillor he disagrees with. And then he had the audacity to talk about principles. Voted against a proposition because he disagreed with the person proposing it, what a principled stance! But, I hope this is in the past and my colleague Tusk now realizes his mistake and will not make it in the future.
In conclusion, I will vote against this act, thank you.
Václav Kohout
Councillor for Czech Slavia -
Councillor Kohout, the people of Europe already demand socialism. No one hears their cries for the bourgeois suffocate them. This is but the manifestation of the will of the people - the will of the people for socialism, for freedom, through, as for the creation of a symbolism of irony, through the capitalist institution of the European Council. Revolution is soon to come, spontaneously; this act is its first herald. However, I do propose the following amendment:
AMENDMENT I
III. Action
I. The European Union officially condemns capitalism as an economic system.
II. It requires all member-states to begin the process of abandoning it, as to prevent further misery and allow for true justice to prevail.III. Member-states which do not comply may be punished by the European Court of Justice.
As for Councillor Zatoni, this legislation is hardly ideological. Capitalism, by every metric, is objectively torturous. If the banning of child marriage, of similar odiousness, is perfectly fine, then I see nothing wrong with this act.
Elspeth Arkalis
Councillor for the Federation of Istkalen -
And also, to Councillor Mizrachi-Roscoe - your Roscoes sells hemp rope, does it not? If so, I must tell you, we will soon be buying it for quite a good use.
Elspeth Arkalis
Councillor for the Federation of Istkalen -
"No. Just no."
Nicholas Benfield
Empire of Inimicus -
"If you want to know why the Duchies is cracking down on left wing extremism and your kind you need only look at yourself Ms Arkalis. Your comment about rope is disgusting given the many innocent people killed by terrorism from your extreme ideology. This only sows more discord and violence insinuating violence is okay. You do nothing to help shed the image of your government as supportive of terrorism and extremism even if your government doesn't have institutional links to terrorism.
James Mizrachi-Roscoe, Councillour for United Duchies
-
Cllr Mizrachi-Roscoe, I don't understand. I was just inquiring as to whether your Roscoes sells hemp rope, for I think I have found a new and revolutionary use for it. How this is disgusting or related to murder I do not know.
But in any case, we all live in a great bourgeois dictatorship, and you, of course, are one of its administrators! Marvelous job, marvelous job! Certainly much better than the bourgeois of Istkalen, who to me seem complete idiots, every single one, with no regard for human life!
But in any case, everything said in this act is objectively true. None of it is extreme in the slightest; it is a collection of facts brought together as to make a coherent and obvious argument, and from that a condemnation of the odious ideology that plagues us all and that you - flesh-puppets and bourgeois dictators of this chamber - you wish so eagerly to defend.

This is not a serious proposition...
