"I'm pleased to hear that. Our stalemate is no longer economically sustainable for you, and both of our peoples are exhausted of living in fear and turmoil. We have an opportunity here to end this senseless cycle of aggression, and I must admit that I am surprised that your government even agreed to this meeting. Our foreign office has been working for years for the leader of the previous regime to cross the channel and meet with us— your being here on its own demonstrates that the UNSR is something new."

The convoy slowed as they neared their destination: Camp 13. Established in 1923 after the surrender of the Home Guard, Camp 13 housed hundreds of thousands of Fremetian civilians and noncombatants that had been deemed a "risk to the revolution" by the Fremetian Socialist Republic— the puppet state that had been established under the auspices of the Supreme Commander of Fremet at the time. In addition to over 254,000 members of the Home Guard, 300,000 civilians were executed at camp from 1923 to 1929.

Whoopi sighed as she stepped out of the car and took Bernie’s hand. The Nicoleizians had razed the camp as the Republican Army approached the area, and the ensuing battle in upper Midtenmark ensured that little was left of Camp 13. The National Parks Commission had preserved the ruins of the site and the surrounding battlefields. One could just make out the countless craters dotting the landscape from artillery fire, and the old concrete walls of the camp laid out the sheer scale of the site. A solemn silence was maintained as the two made their way through the camp, with Whoopi and the Director of the National Parks Commission pointing out the design of the camp, and the workflows that the occupying forces used to systematically eliminate Fremetian citizens. They made their way back to where they began and then walked through the battlefield to the high ground. From there one could see the old camp along with the scarred ground. Nicoleizian forces poisoned countless hectares of farmland in their retreat. Though the National Restoration Administration had managed to recover most of the land, the tracts around Camp 13 were expected to remain dead for at least another century. Only short grasses and bushes, specially bred by FremAg to prevent erosion of the already tattered soil, remained.

At the top of the hill stood a 6 foot tall granite marker, detailing the atrocities that had occurred in the eerily quiet surrounds. Whoopi placed her hand on the marker and turned to Korojaunu Sanders, signaling him to speak to the small assortment of aides, cameras, and conservationists that had joined them on their tour.

"It is a dark day today for Selvaris as we mourn victims of tonight's attack. As of right now, the death count is one hundred and eight. We encountered what was an act of evil, and evil was sought with Justice, as the police force had apprehended the suspects a little while ago trying to head to Alexandria with another bomb at the train station. We do not know what their intended destination was but we do know that there were two of them with two separate bombs large enough to take out the train." She said as she caught her breath she closed her eyes and continued. "The Imperial Palace has declared the State of Emergency, Curfew is at Six PM, if walking around after curfew they will be detained, no one is allowed to have any weapon walking around in public if so they will be detained, failure to give up the weapon and become hostile the police is free to detain the suspect by force. All protests are hereby disbanded and considered hostile, and participants will be detained. Those who do not give up will be met with force." She caught her breath again and she drank a bit of water from the cup on the anchors' table. "Now lets us have a moment of silence from tonight's victims."

"I think that it wouldn't be safe if we draft this agreement through an unsecure phone line. Perhaps we could meet somewhere else clandestinely?" said George as he felt that there might be people who would wiretap the conversation and leak what had been discussed. He thought of some places he could go to and meet the Montenbourgian queen secretly, but he doesn't know any place that would be safe in which no one, not even the government, would know about such meeting.

Romain Guichard quickly followed Bertrand, who escorted him to the control room of the bunker. Together with some Spanish soldiers the situation was followed closely. Meanwhile, the president picked the members of the government he encountered from among the people and urged them to come along. Bertrand opened the door and the presidential entourage entered space.

Bertrand immediately got off the ground and began to explain his scientific explanation with hands and feet to the ministers and the president. The president interrupted him and said, 'Bertrand, in human terms, please.' Bertrand sighed, stepped towards the screen where the situation was visually shown and started again...

'Since the eruption of the Mauga'afi, we thought for a long time that the island would explode. Because the eruption would release a lot of underground energy and over the years, even centuries, there has been a gap between the ground surface and the real soil, this theory really held up and so we assumed that scenario.'

'But that's not what's happening now?' asked the minister of Fisheries. Bertrand turned around, activated the screen and continued his explanation.

'Indeed. There is a second possible scenario, namely an implosion of the island for a similar reason. Only the released underground energy has not risen to the ground surface, which would cause an explosion, but has been completely absorbed by the volcanic eruption itself.'

'And that energy carried the ground surface...' the president intervened. 'That's right.' Bertrand continued.... 'That carrying capacity is gone, and so the island will implode. Because of that implosion, as you can see in this animation, the seawater comes over the land and, because of the weight of the water, the island sinks.'

'Bertrand', the president asked, 'Could you tell us what the consequences will be for the island and in what time this will happen?'

'It's hard to say in how much time that will happen. There are so many factors involved. Nofoaga is a relatively small island, low coastlines and de facto no natural protection against high water. We are also in the cyclonic season which does not play to our advantage.' Bertrand said quietly.

The president insisted with determination: 'How much time is there for Nofoaga to sink Bertrand?' Bertrand lowered his head and looked to the ground as he said with a sense of shame '12 to 36 hours Mr. president.'

There was an overwhelming silence in space. Only a whisper from some ministers and the squeak of technological material was audible. Romain Guichaard placed his hands in his side paced a bit and asked with an impressive calmness: 'Show me what the concrete consequences are for the island. Now.'

Bertrand asked a Spanish soldier to step aside, clicked a few times with the computer mouse and showed the expected result of the implosion.

'This is what Nofoaga is expected to look like at the end of this week.' said Bertrand. And again, it became completely silent in the controlroom. Romain Guichard nodded, turned away from the screen and left the room.

As with any new state -- the Empire celebrating its tenth anniversary only next year -- experience and crisis lays bare issues in the structure of state. A number of years ago, Inimicus recovered from rebellious politicians whose positions had resulted in excessive power being handed to single individuals. More recently, we saw what danger corruption and intrigue, combined with aggressive foreign rogue powers, could pose to proper rule of law and order. We discovered treachery at the heart of government, for which I, and those responsible, face the consequences.

"This week's crisis is one from which we will emerge stronger. As an administration, as an Empire, as a people. Statement on DU poll and latest campaign rallies
I thank the Duxburians for their support and would like to thank you and any other voters Europe wide for their suppport. I believe together we can achieve sovereignty once again for nations. I would like to adress this idea change at a constitutional level is not possible or impractical , it is not. Is it easy? No I have never promised change will be easy to achieve but withouit trying fundamental change at constitutional level any change is potentially very temporary waiting just for the next Juncker or Granger or EPA candidate to roll back the change, you cannot trust snakes in the grass that speak of "unity in diversity" while standing against its very principle on a hyper liberal platform that excludes anyone slightly right of centre. If you want change you need to vote for someone seeking the hard change, the lasting change, constitutional change.

"Hello DU - again ! This is my third 'visit', and I am so happy to be here again.

The elections are popping off all over Europe - and I need your help to make sure that the EU is represented by someone who both believes in returning sovereignty from Europolis, and someone who can return this sovereignty to your people -- and all European people.

Think of the shock that mine (and Sofie Čikarová's) election would bring to Europolis. The EPA and their allies would be forced to listen to Duxburians for the first time in a long time.

Often the DU is ignored and sidelined in these elections -- candidates from the EPA and their allies used to be certain that they could win these elections without consulting the EU's largest nation. Their path to power went a different route. Don't let them ignore you !

I have included the DU and its priorities at the heart of my campaign - ideals such as sovereignty, a respect and an appreciation for cultures that are different.

And so I need to earn every single Duxburian vote I can.

I see where Leeson voters are coming from, and I do agree with him on some EU constitutional matters. But his policies are just not feasible -- a constitutional amendment is a real feat to achieve. Čikarova's potential power to propose a budget is another method to promote change, and my influence within the Commission will be a bonus to achieving a budget that returns more money to our nationstates.

And so, it's a simple proposition: vote for me for achievable reforms which will return sovereignty, and equally as importantly, money. Or, vote for Leeson or Biden who might let Granger in through the back door.

The choice is clear. Vote for a real change, vote for someone who will shake up EU politics for the better.

After some tough days for the European Progressive Alliance Premier candidate, Jean-Claude Juncker was back. One of his brothers had died, and of course, he couldn't carry on with the campaign. But he needed to be strong enough, and so he was returning the day before the debate started on a massive online rally from Nueva Antequera, Spain, and connecting with mainly the countries he had left to visit but also with anybody who wished to follow the closure of the Juncker's campaign. He was getting ready, the Junckgadgets were ready and being parked around, as it had been announced that this would be the last Juncker's campaign with them.

The pro-European Union demonstrations reached the big port of Nueva Antequera, where the rally was going to be held. The people started to congregate around the stage, some seated in the chairs and many others were waving EU flags and many other flags from all around Europe. EPA flags were also there and were being waved by some people on the ground. The team checked the International connection was fine, and when they were given the OK sign, the stream started: Nueva Antequera was live in those countries and in Youtube and other social networks. The known speaker appeared on stage: "Good evening Nueva Antequera and a very good evening to every city around Europe following this rally live! It's a pleasure to have you all in our first ever online rally, and it's nice to see the live signal from all around the region with an image full of people. And now, please welcome the man you have been waiting for... JEAN-CLAUDE JUNCKER!!!!"

Suddenly, I'm Ready by Sam Smith and Demi Lobato started to play and Juncker went through the corridor formed between the crowd shaking hands with everyone, running and reaching the stage in time to wave the crowd and get his hand to where his heart is and thank all the people watching the rally for spending their time with him. The song was over and the crowd kept clapping and cheering. They stopped to let Juncker speak:

I am sorry for not being able to go everywhere this time, and it is something I didn't expect to happen, but I have lost a brother and I needed to stand with my siblings and my own family in this hard times. He was 85 and now he is giving me much more forces from up there. This rally is for him! But now, let's put the bad things away and speak about what we need to do in Europe, what you the Europeans need, no matter if you are watching from Hemberdale, from Dairghaxburo or from Hankkara. I have always wished for a platform that stands with you, that is aware of the challenges Europe is facing. And I want to do a very important announcement: no matter what the result is, I will stand by your side, as I have always do. But I also want to tell you that this is the last time we will use the Junckgadgets, because Europe is not about my face on several means of transport, but the people that makes it. Still, don't be sad ladies and gentlemen, because my team and I will come up with something new and much better.

And today, we are going to speak about the issues of the European Union, one by one. I want to clarify one thing: if I am elected, I will make as much changes as possible to the European Union, that's what the regions needs and that is what I will do. In Gadalland & Aspern, I was planning to speak about young people and what we need to do in order to help them in their future lifes: the European Union needs to be there, and needs huge changes. But I was also going to speak about the capacity the European Union has to solve conflicts, and Gadalland & Aspern is going through some political tensions, and I will offer myself one more time to mediate between both sides. But at the same time, I would like to tell all the people from Gadalland that they will always have a helping hand in the European Union.

Now, I want to address the citizens from Inimicus and North Diessen, who have been writing me several messages though Twitter about the Sanctioning Powers Act 2021 and what would a Juncker Commission do with it, and I can guarantee everybody from both the Empire of Inimicus and the Confederacy of North Diessen that under a Juncker Commission, the act won't be repealed. And I know I have been very critical with it, but sometimes we need an ultimate resource. Dialogue and moderation will always go first, but sometimes the European Union needs tools to act.

Moving on, I would like to address the citizens from the Duxburian Union, who I personally know they disagree with how the European Union works right now and they want a real change. I would like to tell them that we need change indeed, and a Juncker Commission will offer huge changes. But at the same time, I have understood we cannot make the EU focus in just one thing, but go back to the times when we were United in Diversity. But at the same time, we need to help those that need some European compromise in the Duxburian Union, and I am referring to the citizens from Azrekko, which are really depressed and angry with the current situation they are going through. They want to get more investment, and to exit the huge depression they are going though. Believe it or not, renewable energies are one of the main possibilities for Azrekko, and we as Europeans, following the value of solidarity, need to help those in the need. Now, citizens of Azrekko, I would like to tell you that if you vote for me, I will visit the Duxburian Union and your city, meet with the local authorities and a representation of the citizens and propose European solutions for you. Together, United in the Diversity you are willing to represent, we will help you.

And now, I would like to speak about the main project of my campaign, the European Union 2030 Strategy - Next Generation EU. The EU 2030 Strategy is a short timed action to renew the European Union's structure, institutions and strategy towards different regionwide issues. We are going to redefine the sovereingty of member states, dividing sovereingty powers in 3: Exclusive, in which the EU alone is able to legislate and adopt binding acts; Shared, in which the EU and EU countries are able to legislate and adopt legally binding acts and Supporting, in which the EU can only intervene to support, coordinate or complement the action of EU countries. We will be renewing the European Union's structure, with a new directly elected organism, formed by the EU leaders, which would be able to control how the Council works; we will renew the European Institutions thanks to a continued dialogue with member states, trying to figure out what to do with the Commission terms or how the Council should work, taking into account the values of cooperation and our other social values.

We are also going to tackle Climate Change and join forces against them, finishing the work started by the current Internal Affairs Commissioner, Münevver Birdane, we are going to push forward important regionwide projects to upgrade the quality of life of the Europeans, giving the European Court of Justice a new look and more importantly and the most important measure of this 2030 Agenda, we are going to change the Constitution with the consensus of the European Leaders and the European Council, all together, pushing forward the same objective: an European Union united in diversity, with common values and at the same time different; being able to represent us all.

Ladies and gentlemen from all around Europe, I have a final message for you: we just have a chance to change Europe. Is either now or never, and if we do nothing to stop this, we will just make the European Union dissapear. I offer lot of change, lot of new things to renew a region that needs to include everyone, and at the same time, to make everyone want to stay on it. We need to go back to the golden era of the European Union, where everyone was happy to be part of this region. Together, we will make it, but I need yor support: From Fremet, from Alkharya, from Inimicus, from the Duxburian Union, Reitzmag, Gadalland & Aspern, every country. Only if we all go together, we will manage to do the biggest changes ever to our region and our Union. Let's do this, and let's do it now.

CVF Statement on Judicial Pursuit in the ECoJ:

"First of all, its very rich we're being pursued in court when it is Reitzmag who is literally ethnically cleansing us.

Secondly, we are not a state, we are not members of the EU. We are in hiding. If you can find us, ordinary citizens, and blame us. Sure.

I will repeat what I said previously;

"To save their lives and countless others in this burning city, leave. Just leave. We will not be satisfied until we are free or this city is ashes. Choose.""

I am not continuing my campaign for Premier, due to personal circumstances. My supporters - I urge you, do not vote for the vapid EPA, nor for the unhinged populists who scream of nonsense constantly. Vote for those with reasoned policy; those who have shown themselves to be calm, rational, and detailed in their policy - firm in what they support. These are not the candidates who go around promising bandages, not those without a platform - but rather those who have stuck, in fact, to the same, concise but detailed, platform for so long.

But thank you for your support. I will continue to work for a better Europe, even now.

Christopher Strathclyde, Commander Rosenfield, and Lyndah Cocx rushed to the scene of the suspected Black Organisation Headquarters, which they had just learned had been surrounded and utterly cut off from the outside world. This was it. Barrington was in their grasp. Tyres screeching, the unmarked car that had been provided to them by the Leagioan administration zoomed through Jullien, to a partially derelict house where the suspected crims were entrenched. None of the Inimicians had been informed that fire had already been exchanged between the BO and Leagioan law enforcement, and as far as they were concerned, this was a matter of knocking down the door, grabbing Barrington by the neck, and dragging him onto the plane back to Telum.

Arriving at the scene, which now played host to an army-size contingent of law enforcement units, the Inimicians realised the situation was quite different. Heavily-armed police personnel took covered behind armoured cars and vans. Assault rifles and shotguns were being handed out to those just arriving and the sight of bulletproof vests was common. The Inimicians were similarly protected, and were told to never, no matter what, step into direct line of sight of any windows.

"We're about to begin entry operations", said the police commander the Inimcians were directed to. He further pointed the delegation to similar TV monitors they had used to watch the action at the hotel raid, and, slightly timidly, made their way to where they could see the action unfold without risk of serious injury.

"The road ends here, Barrington", thought Christopher, whose goosehunt chase of Barrington aross international borders would soon be at an end, "And soon, you'll be on the stand, vainly defending yourself. It'll all be over soon."

PRAGUE, CZECH SLAVIA

The attacks from the opponents were insane, but he had to fight for what is right. Just in time, his plane landed at Prague for the rally. Joe then transferred to the Bidencopter which would take him to the campaign grounds. After a few minutes, the Bidencopter arrived and landed at the park.

"Good day Prague!"

"Today, it is time we make the EU better. No more forced sanctions and embargoes, no more malarkey. Enough of the EU pressing on its member-states and forcing them to do something. Change is coming, and we will bring it. Unlike other candidates who only make promises but doesn't act."

The crowd cheers again.

"Sanctions don't solve the problem, diplomacy does. In my administration, we will ensure that the EU stops forcing its member-states to do something and meddle with their Internal Affairs. This malarkey has to stop and we will do it. Look at the UNSR, we sanctioned them but nothing happened. It's time we let the member-states decide what they want."

"And if you want that to happen, vote Joe BIDEN in the coming European Elections. We will conduct a constitutional review in 4 months and reform the EU to match the real interests of the member-states. If we work together, we can stop Krexit, Anglexit, Mennrexit, or any other exit from happening. Thank you and have a great day everyone!"

The audience gives a big round of applause with roaring cheers and chants.
