Yo, wussup Europe? IBC is totally down to air a special presentation of the 1996 edition of EuroVoice, which was hosted here in Saint Dominico, Inquista. '96 was a super fly year, taking place at the height of the 90s, when the Cold War became old ass news and nobody was totally buggin' anymore. This was the bomb era of grunge rock, R&B, hip-hop, rap, and shawties empowerin' each other 'n shit with their pop groups. Sounds super dope, doesn't it? Let's get jiggy with it! Booyah!

Cher Horoditz: Good evening and welcome to the 1996 EuroVoice Song Contest. Europe is a community of countries that are united together under peace... not! That's why we have the EuroVoice Song Contest, which brings us all together through the power of music. I'm sure this will be the best EuroVoice yet, because everyone knows that 1996 is the best year ever. Imagine missing out on 1996? I could never. Ugh, as if!
Reminder: RetroVoice =/= EuroVoice, this is a spin-off series.
Your entry must have been released between 1989 and 2000, or, alternately, it can be a 90s remix of a modern song.

The crowd cheers as Cher Horoditz takes to the stage to begin the results show for the 1996 edition of the Eurovoice Song Contest. Cher is seen wearing a plaid yellow outfit, which would later become one of the most iconic and most talked about outfits in Inquista during the 90's. Cher waves enthusiastically to the crowd, before then beginning to speak.
"Good evening, Europe! It's great to have you all here in Saint Dominico, Inquista, where we have come together to celebrate music, and to celebrate music's ability to bring us all together."
The crowd claps and cheers.
"So... do you guys want the 411? Let's waste no time and dish it. BUT FIRST! Do you guys know what's totally not cool? Not voting! For whatever reason, the dial-up in Montenbourg and Mennrimiak is not very good, and we have not received their televotes. Unfortunately, these countries have been disqualified from the competition. Totally lame!"
The crowd boos and jeers.
"Oh snap! You guys are totally buggin'. Take a chill pill! Don't worry, the show will go on, and we already have our first result waiting, so let's bounce! OK, so the results will be coming in alphabetical order, so I hope you guys all know your ABCs.
"Good evening, Alkharya! Could we have your results please?"
Korhan Abay and Meltem Cumbul appear on screen and delivers the Alkharyan televote scores.
"Congrats to Spain for picking up those 12 points from Alkharya! Well, thank you for those votes, Korhan and Meltem. Hope you both have a great night!
"Now onto Czech Slavia. Good evening, Prague! Wow, Antonín, you look great. You haven't aged a day since the 1985 Eurovoice Song Contest, and I'm sure you'll never look a day older in your whole foreseeable future! Ok, enough about that. May we have the televotes from Czech Slavia, please?"
The crowd cheers as Antonin delivers the Czech votes. After a few moments, Cher quietens the crowd.
"Thanks, Antonin! Can't wait to see you looking great as always again next year! Anyway, Istkalen has now taken the lead with those 12 points. Totally rad! Let's go to Fremet before we get an overview of all the scores so far.
"Good evening, Trondheim! (gasp) Betty! Betty, you are do bomb.com. Thanks for joining us. Give us the stitch on the Fremetian televotes!"
Betty White delivers the Fremetian televote scores while the crowd cheers with great excitement.
"Thanks Betty, you are all that and a bag of chips, I hope you know that. Ok, let's catch you all up with the 411. Here is the leaderboard so far!"

"Wow, the competition is pretty close so far. Istkalen is leading so far with 29 points, KA-CHING! Let's go now to Icholasen, where democracy is totally chillin'!

Françoise Hardy delivers the Nicoleizian results while the Nicoleizian spectators yell with great approval.

The crowd goes absolutely wild as Dionne Kennedy Davenport walks onto the stage to join Cher.
"Hey bee-otch, how are you? Good? Good. Please hit it us up with those Inquistan votes."
"Nofoga with the 12 points - schwing! Istkalen with a 10! They're running away with this... totally bunk. Thanks Dionne, you can lay off now."
The crowd cheers as Dionne exits the stage.
"Ok, well, now to the country of the hour... Istkalen! Good evening, Stereotypical Westerner! So glad to have the representation we all so desperately need on this show. So brave of you to join us. Look at all that cash money you have! Where's the bling? Do you have the televote results from Istkalen for us?"
"Wow those are some maaaad results. Thank you! Congratulations to Alkharya with the 12 points! Only 4 for Inquista? Whatever, talk to the hand! Let's go to the leaderboard again and check these sweet results out."

"Istkalen is on a roll, but Nofoaga and Spain are both just behind with 6 points to make the difference. Only 3 points separate the next 6 entries after. With 5 more results to go, this is still anybody's game.

The tension and nerves throughout the audience is palpable, and the audience cheers loudly for Cher to continue on with the show.
"Ok, ok, chillax! Lay off me. Let's go to Spain, then. Buenas noches, España! Pedro, you've got us on our feet! Please provide us with the Spanish televote results."
"... and the 12 points to Reitzmag and 10 to Pravsolaviya! 1 point to Istkalen, 2 points to Fremet, and 3 to Nofoaga! We dig it. Tactical voting is so in these days. Dope! Thanks for those results.
"Our final results will come from the United Duchies. This is make or break for the entire top 6, all of whom could theoretically win. One of Spain, Istkalen, Nofoaga, Fremet, Icholasen or Inquista shall take home the victory tonight.
